ok, back on topic...I finally convinced my friend to read The Hobbit! I'm so proud of myself she said she might read FOTR after!

Same here! My friend had never seen or read the LOTR series, which surprised me, and I finally convinced her to start. She's loving them, and I get to say "I told you so." I am so excited for the Hobbits Movie! It's going to be awesome! I was really surprised to hear the Orlando Bloom will be back as Legolas, but I love him, so it made me ecstatic

I would do it. I also am writing up a good LOTR one. Another user helped me come up with it. I'll post the basic idea here or someone could pm me if interested.

Legolas is my favourite character, without a doubt, in the book and movies. Orland Bloom looks amazing as a blonde elf And, I know right? I hope they do as good of a job as they did with the other movies. I mean, The Hobbit was much shorter, so hopefully they'll leave out less ^.^" I was so sad that Tom Bombadil wasn't in the movie- he was so amazing~

These are my two favourite sites for rune generation. The second one teaches you to write your name in elvish and it's really easy, and the first one translates your text to different types of runes (eg. Hobbit Runes).
