What if I told you that the myths were real?

Not just Greek or Roman myths either but Norse, Mayan, Egyptian...all of them. Each group of gods lives on their own separate plane of existence but surely there is more? A much greater reason I am telling you this? The truth is you are a child of one of these gods, and for your own safety as well as training you must be taken away from your home and to Castrum Divinum, rather the Castle of the Divine. You'll be safer there, it's a large white castle white many acres of untouched land around it, rolling fields and forests. There are no teachers or real adult supervision, simply we go by seniority. Whoever is the oldest take charge, it's a dog eat dog world out there and thus will remain one in the castle. The older "students" teach the younger students about the different mythologies, how to fight, things of that nature etc. We believe that the gods will watch over them and guide their decisions however... Dorm selection is up to you entirely though boys and girls are separated into opposite areas of the castle. Some of you will receive a prophecy during your time here or go on fantastic quests, tis the life of a god, you each have special talents and they will be used to the fullest extent here, you have my word.

Castle Rules
School will begin at approximately 8:00 and end at 4:00
Breakfast will be held from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM
Lunch is whenever
Dinner is served in the central dining hall at roughly 6:00 PM
You may have pets but you must keep them under control.
Lights out is 11:30 PM
Try not to kill anyone, blood stains badly on the carpets.
No drugs, or alcohol while on Castle Grounds
Seniority is key, if someone is your senior their word overtakes yours
Leaving Castle grounds is forbidden unless stated otherwise
Every Saturday the crew will take all students into town to have a little fun. Watch movies, go to amusement parks, if you're a couple go on a date. Or whatever else you find fun. We will depart at 10:00 AM and arrive back at school at 4:00 AM.

Description: Sophie is tall at about 5"9 but not overtly gangly. Her height has often been a bit of a confidence issue as she doesn't always feel like she can fill her body but she manages. She has shoulder length dark red hair which earned her the nickname of Ginger. It used to be much longer but only when she can to the school did she cut it. Her eyes are a chocolaty brown that almost look entirely black in the right light and contrast against her fare skin. Other than that she only has a few freckles.

Personality: Sophie is an intelligent girl who would rather study battle tactics than charge into battle headlong. Like her father she is quite the mischief maker and enjoys a prank every once in a while. She has hopes of learning much of the magic her father might have used in the myths to aid in not only her pranks but battle strategy. Why punch someone in the face when you can send a duplicate of yourself to do it after all. She is by no means meek but is quiet as she is always thinking, get her into a conversation though and she may never stop talking however, don't believe everything she says as she has a tendency to lie.
History: Sophie grew up just outside of Richmond, Virginia with her single mother. They lived a relatively uneventful middle-class life aside from a few minor disturbances until she was ten. Being a young child in the public school system bullying was a normalcy so it was no shock when a few made the very wrong decision to come after Sophie. They punched and kicked the young girl calling her every name their small brains could think up. In a rage she shouted with her eyes closed and hands thrust forward. Her enemies had silenced themselves. Opening her eyes she gasped to find they were frozen solid as a rock, revealing her first power. Her second revealed not a second later was her teleportation as she found herself right back home. Her mother knowing what she was quickly packed their things and hit the road, she didn't want her daughter dissected or worse. They lived in New Jersey for a year before someone had arrived to take Sophie away to Castrum Divinum. Learning of her heritage was a shock but a part of her always thought something was different, since then she has been at the Castle training her skills.

Description:
Misty is a tall girl. She is 5'11" and all legs. Now, you are probably expecting to hear that she is model thin as well, but she isn't. Mist has a love for food, so she is actually a bit curvy and has no strong desire to be stick thin. Her skin is pale, since she spends her days avoiding the sun, and is even more so when she applies her near white concealer. With her brown, waist-length hair dyed black, she looks a bit vampiric, especially when she wears dark lipstick. But hey, she is the gothy girl with hazel eyes, so it's expected in the end. Oh, and her eyebrow is pierced, because she is a rebel.

Weapon of Choice/abilities:
Misty is an adept horse-back rider and wields a sword pretty well. She can also read minds, but only when someone is sleeping.

Personality:
Life is meant to be lived, so Misty lives it to the fullest. Full of spunk and fearlessness, she takes risks left and right, never bothering to stop and consider the consequences. Confidence fills her, giving her the strength to do whatever she feels like. Yes, she is a hand-full, but her optimistic personality keeps people around. Misty is a nice, cheerful girl, who loves people and making friends. She loves to simply have fun and loves taking a walk on the wild side.

Surprisingly enough, Misty is actually quite mature, which can be off-putting at time. Sometimes she flat our refuses to do something that seems to be her perfect cup of tea. She can also be very serious about matters that need, well, seriousness. It makes her a good shoulder to cry on and the person to seek advice from. Yes, Misty is well-rounded, seemingly perfect, but of course, that can't be possible.

Someone with so much life and so much energy must be running from something, and Misty is no exception. Due to a traumatic event from her past, certain things can cause Misty to completely shut down. She literally roll-up into a ball and shakes. It's the anxiety she suppresses that make her do this. Though she likes to think fear isn't in her vocabulary, it is and she knows it. Therefore, she runs from it, pretending that she doesn't care and that nothing bothers her. Along with this fear is the growing feeling of loneliness and isolation. Though it may not actually be happening, Misty feels trapped in her own world, and she only wishes to be with others.

History:
Misty grew up in Chicago with her dad. Ever since she could remember, Misty had been told that her mother died after childbirth due to complications, leaving father and daughter behind. Life was good. Since her father was a successful business man, Misty could have almost anything she wanted. Naturally, like her mother, she was drawn to horses, so that is what she wanted. From a young age, she showed much talent when it came to riding, and it wasn't long before she was winning ribbons on her pony. Riding became her life and she did it all the time. On the side, though, she became a fencer, because her father insisted.

When she was eleven years old, Misty had an accident that changed her life forever. The details are too painful to reveal just yet, but Misty should've died. Yes, she shouldn't be breathing right now, but someone must've been looking out for her, for she managed to cheat death and save her neck. Unfortunately, her mind shut down, and her father spent weeks simply trying to get her to talk. Misty refused to do anything but lie on the couch and stare. It's here that she transformed from the sweet, awkward girl that she was into the girl that she is today.

For some reasons to be revealed later, Misty finally managed to break out of anxious stupor. It took several months, but she managed to do it. She turned into the wild, free spirited, rocker chick she is today. As she broke into high school, she began to chase her dreams like crazy. She formed her own band, joined every club on the planet, and sought friends like flies seek sugar. She began to ride again, and was slowly brought back to life. So, when someone came to take her away and her past revealed, it was just the icing on the cake of her new life.

Description: Nick has dark black hair which used to be short and spiky though he didn't get it cut yet, he is slightly tanned though seems pale compared to Lucas who seems tanned. His eyes are a chocolately brown and his 6 foot 1 body may seen a little lanky though that's because of the clothes he wears so dont think he doesn have any muscles, looks can be deciving.

Weapon of Choice/abilities: thanks to his father he has the ability to teleport as well as some super speed and the ability to b able to blend in with his surroundings, enabling him to appear invisible or to change into the people around him but for a short period of time. But when it comes to fighting he usually uses anything he can get his hands on and hand to hand combat, but he focuses on distracting them for a bit first before anything else.

Personality: Nick is a laid back kind of guy, he is slow to anger and when he does get angry it doesn’t take ling for it to die
down or ‘go away’. His eyes are always sparkling with mischief, playfulness and happiness. With Nick there is never a dull moment. He gets bored/distracted very easily and he can’t stand doing one thing for a long period of time, though the only thing he really has patience for is using his powers and going some tricks here and there, something which he is good at thanks to his father. Nick is a friendly kind of guy, he loves to talk to people especially ladies though sometime he may just say the wrong things, but he won’t know that until it’s too late. He is sneaky and can get you what you want without people noticing sometimes which is another gift of a messenger from his father, also thanks to that he is skilled at breaking codes and breaking into things.

History: Nick grew up in the average family until he had caught someone breaking into his house when he was 10, at first he was scared though then he was angry and his powers showed. Nick had somehow managed to push the guy through a wall but then again his family was a little on the poor side so the walls weren’t that thick. When his family asked what had happened Nick would reply ‘Can’t remember, must of been sleepin’ or somethin’’ though he knew clearly what had happened. When he had gone to school he had fit in though ever since that day when he discovered his powers he got curious and has started wearing hats (In picture). Some people thought he was dumb for doing that though he just shrugged it off. When he got told about the school he was a little shocked though he went with the person to the school, his mother telling him to be good even if she knew he wasn’t some times.
Then he met Lucas and the pair became friends, Nick knowing the right times to stop lucas from getting angry and Lucas knowing a lot of things. Leaving the pair to get up to no good every so often, but would the fun be if they never had fun.

Description: Lucas is roughly around 6 foot 2 when he stands to his full height. His dark dirty blond hair could be considered a light brown though he finally settled for it being a mixture. From his past he is well built but not overly muscle-y, just the right amount. His eyes are a dark green which can sometimes be mistaken for a shade of black but he is used to it.

Weapon of Choice/abilities:Lucas has some control over life and death for a few seconds only, as well as the abilitly to potential raise the dead but he risks his on life then. His nightmares are sometimes o the underworld and of the future though he rarely remembers the future ones just he screams, he uses a pair of daggers sometimes though he prefers to do hand to hand combat.

Personality: Lucas wasn’t the same after he had been called Lucifer and he grew a little scared that he could lose control of his powers and hurt someone. So he covered it all up being a little sarcastic here and there but never to be to hurtful, he doesn’t take a lot of people serious and in a dangerous situation he might be considered a little laid back. Though he still has good times when he does let a little of his inner kid out and set up a small prank here or there for the teachers or students. But he does have a short temper which can snap especially if he cares for someone and he thinks that their going to be in deep trouble where he can’t protect you.
If you ever say that he can’t do something he will just smirk at you and try to prove you wrong even at some cost though he knows that it might end up a little odd. Since he has nightmares sometimes about what can happen he might be up in the middle of the night in his little secret spot on the roof watching the stars maybe with a small drink of something along with him. But you have to get to know him before he can really tell you anything. Though if you get him angry try not to be in the same room as him since he may be a little uncontrollable once he's furious, especailly in a fight since he won't stop fighting.

History: Lucas was born in the average life though things started to go wrong when he started to get nightmares, around the age of 8 or 9. He never really understood them but slowly learnt to try and control them of course he was considered a little bit of a freak as a kid which he never really understood why until someone called him ‘Lucifer’. Then he left moving off to another school leaving his family behind since he didn’t want to be a bother to them. He tried to make a distance between himself and others though he had taken up a small little bad habit which would get the better of him sometimes.
A few months later he had discovered the school and decided to join even if he didn’t really have a choice, he still tries to distance himself from some students and mainly focuses on harnessing his abilities and training.

(Rhiannon is my favorite goddess, so I know a bit.

She is the goddess of the moon, inspiration, horses, dreams, endurance, fertility, and the underworld. Her name means "Divine Queen" though, so she is often considered the queen of the faeries. Yea...it's all kind of weird and scattered. Different sources say different things. She does have some cool stories, though! She married a human who chased her on horse-back, but she and her horse were too fast. They do get married and have a son who is kidnapped. She is framed for his murder, but she lives virtuously and accepts her horrible punishment [which I have forgotten], but her son comes back and she is forgiven and then revered for her good nature.)
