Cassie hesitated, "I am Cassandra. This is my cousin Elijah." She shook Rhianna's hand, "Its nice to meet you." Elijah smiled and nodded to the girl then looked at his hands. Cassie handed Elijah his bag that had an apple and his drink in it.

Juliet grinned again. "Welcoming committee time! These kids look new." Wondering if anyone would follow her, the girl walked (it was more of a skip) over to Cassie and Elijah. "Hey guys. I'm Juliet Gibbs." She nodded to where she'd been sitting before. Over there are James, Allison, and Alaric." Juliet pointed to each person in turn before musing to herself that there sure were a lot of new people lately.

Rhi pulled her hand back, wondering why no one liked to touch them. She shook her head and went to dump her food.

Elijah flinched violently when the girl came over. Cassie pinched her cousin and smiled at the girl, "Hi. I am Cassandra or Cassie and this is my cousin Elijah or Eli. He is not used to outgoing people." Elijah smiled weakly.

James hit his head in the table again. He sighed again. Allison is kind of worryed. She bit her lip. "are you really sure you are ok?" James nodded with his head in the table.

Rhi came back to the table and asked outright, "Okay, people not able to eat or sleep and now no one's shaking hands, is this place cursed or what?!" she exclaimed. She sat down unhappily.

Cassie tilted her head to the left. She did not mind shaking hands but she understood why Eli did not enjoy it. The last time he did someone looked at him like he was a freak and practically ran away. Elijah just raised an eyebrow and did not reply.

Juliet bit her lip and quieted significantly. "Oh, sorry. I get a little excited sometimes. You have to be loud with six older brothers." She explained, hazel eyes closing momentarily as if to steady herself. "You're welcome to sit with us whenever. Or just invite me over if you want to talk." The small girl walked back to her table, more subdued than before.

Alaric reached out to grab Rhi's hand for a split second. "Just as I thought. Will you meet me at the ice cream place after school?" There was logic to his choice: holding ice cream would make your hands colder, and it wouldn't seem unnatural.
