I walked slowly to the old house of mirrors. I remeber years ago, on a night just like tonight, my older brother had gone in there...And well, he never came out...Well, I mean they found his arm, but that was it. I wanted to know what happened in there, C.S.I. hadn't found anything, but I knew that I could unravel this mystery. I had a notebook in hand and a fashlight in my little backpack. I stood on the edge of the house, debating wether or not I was sure I wanted to go in or not...I mean it was scary looking.

I looked in one of the mirrors, I looked like a clown, but could I truely ever be a good one? In a place like this it was good to have a dark humor...But I don't think I had any humor at all. I began practicing some jokes in the mirrors. "Why did the human come into the Masion of Mirrors?.....Because they have no brains!" I said aloud.

Violet was putting on her crown of thorns. A gift from an old friend. She nearly cried with delight as she Unity enter the area. She ran out her castle. This one she would catch and turn by herself.

Unity walked around the halls. Somehow this place was fimiliar. Like she had walked these halls before, and somehow she felt calm.

I wasn't one to back down from a challenge.
I never had been. And I wasn't going to change that now.
Just 20 minutes ago, my friends and I had been playing a friendly game of truth or dare with some other people who's voices did not sound familiar to me. One person had dared the whole group to go inside this 'House of Mirrors' at midnight and stay inside for at least two hours. I could feel tension in the air as everyone stirred.
"I accept the dare."
I could feel everyone's eyes on me the minute my voice borke the eerie silence. 'Are you sure you can handle it?' one of the guys asked me. I turned my head in his direction. I knew he was referring to my blindness, instead of testing my courage. "Yes. Don't think I can't take care of myself just because I have bandages over my eyes." I stood up and crossed my arms across my chest. "Now if you don't mind, will one of you take me there?'
That's how I ended up here, in my friends black Pontiac Grand Prix, on my way to the House of Mirrors.

The taxi pulled up to the abandoned House of Mirrors. I stepped out, mumbling a thank you to the driver. All I had to do was last at least 3 hours in here, and I would win the bet. It was an average night for me, staying up late, playing poker, the usual. But then one of my opponents at a table eyed me with narrow catlike eyes. 'Hey. Wanna make a bet?'
His words caught my attention easily. I always came out the superior one when it came to bets. We talked for awhile, and ended up with a bet. If I could last 3 hours in the House of Mirrors, the guy would give me all of his chips that he had won tonight. I accepted it, since he was blazing through tables, collecting everyone's chips like a madman. To me, this was all about destroying this man's confidence and make a few bucks off of it.
Seemed like a pretty good deal to me.
But now, as I stood in front of this place, I wasn't so sure.

Unity felt a whisp of air blow through her ear. She shivered she started to get scared. She turned around, ready to head out. But something was blocking her way.

Violet was standing in front of her in human form. She smiled and startd ot walk toward Unity, "Unity. Long time, no see. What are you doing here?"

Unity backed away, "Ummm...I took a bet. First off, how do you know me? Second, Who are you? Third WHERE THE HECK DID YOU COME FROM????"

Hidden in the trees under the starry sky, Donut watched as the others slowly disappeared one by one into the maw of the Mirror House. She clung tightly onto the branch that held her and shifted forward a bit to get a better look. Confident that the coast was clear, she swung out of the tree and landed silently on the soft ground below. She had heard rumors of demons around the area, and she wanted to investigate for herself. She checked her clothes briefly and then set out toward the entrance.

Violet began to step closer. Unity backed up to a mirror. Violet smiled, "You smell different little sister. You muist not be a demon anymore. Don't worry, I'll turn you back into one in a jiffy."

Unity screamed.
