I guess I lived a normal life, until I was 12 and my parents were brutally murdered for reasons unknown. I was passed between relatives, each finding me changed, warped and too much to handle. Eventually, my grandparents took me in and taught me to ride on their ranch. Being around horses changed me, I guess, and helped me get better, but I stopped riding after a near-fatal incident. Of course, I eventually moved out, got my driver's license, got an apartment, and then had a crash on the way home from the doctor's office.
