He led Fly outside and managed to find the pasrure and made sure it was for the mares. He opened the metal gate and led her in then let her off. He watched her and hung her rope over the bar of the gate and after a few minutes he sat on the gate and took out a pad and pencil from his rucksack still on his back and began to draw the simple shapes.

He looked around, expecting someone. Silently he studied the stables, watching details and interesting things. He and his sister had come from a long way for this, so at least it should be worth it. He knew Tessa walked behind him, accustomed to it. Her light footsteps barely audible as the noise of the horses and he himself walking made them harder to hear. On in a while, he turned, checked she was still behind, then continued. She could easily walk away without him hearing.

She followed her brother, silent. He was the one who usually made introductions and such, so she let him to go ahead. Quietly she stared around. They had traveled a long distance to arrive here. And it had been hard to convince her aunt into accepting to do so. Then all the sudden she brought a hand up to her temple. She'd had headaches frequent lately. Mostly since she had guessed she had cached a cold, but it was really a fever.
