Natalia wasn't quite sure what to say. None of them were really doing anything productive...spying on Liz's...what was he again? brother?...didn't seem like such a good idea to her. She wasn't a very big fan of eavesdropping or minding other people's business, but the brown-haired girl beside her seemed to be enjoying it.

"Er...Liz, don't you think it's kind of rude to spy on them? I mean, seriously, they're on a date," Natalia said quietly, feeling a bit shy at protesting. She crossed her arms, trying to push back her discomfort at speaking up. "I really think we should do something else. Maybe we can look for a way to escape."

Escape... Natalia wished she could escape. This place was like a prison to her. The one thing she wanted most of all was to get out and live her life the way she wanted to live it, not the way the scientists and the government wanted her to live it. I've been here for so long...to get out would be better than anything.

Keeping her in his peripheral vision, Alec let his gaze sweep around the forested area. Something was out there, and it was something that was stealthy. The hair on the back of his neck rose up as he sensed it moving around. It was the only good side to his bad eye-sight, his hearing had nearly doubled since the accident with the fire. His eyes snapped back around to where he heard a low growl, like a warning. They must have stopped on the creatures territory. Was there just one, or a whole pack of these animals? This wasn't a position Alec liked to get into very often. "Lets try to slowly walk towards the stream," He whispered lowly to Lulu, making sure to keep the fear out of his voice as he took a soft step forwards. Hopefully this wouldn't be so bad and the two of them would be able to slowly yet surely make their way out of this situation.
Alec glanced back to her and gave her an incuraging smile. "Just don't think about whatever's out there, just concentrate on walking and not stumbling. You'll do fine," Voice still soft as he muttered the words to Lulu, Alec mentally made sure that once they began walking, that he would keep his pace steady with hers.

Lulu looked up to hear Alec's voice, but even with his gaze sweeping around her she could tell he was nervous to. Her body began to slowly feel more with growing anger inside her body, and this was not by her own kind, but the raptor knew somethign was wrong nearby and he wanted control. She heard a whisper from Alec so her now emerald's turned towards him to even sence his sort of fear that didn't show in voice, but in his eyes. "Okay," she whispered back to take a few weakly steps forward on her legs, and a few moments later a small smile was shown on his face to hopefully keep her calm. Nope. Sorry. "I hope, but he seems to think not," she voiced out of her contracting lungs. Then just as she began to make a few more steps did the wild pack attack on them both. A good few ran at Alec to grab at his legs as well as mid-waist, and for Lulu a few more came at her. Her eyes turned to meet one full on her chest, and another drove its teeth straight into her leg that as of right now was still hurting from the burn. She screamed out in pain, but it was quickly replaced by something that took over inside her entire mind as is shutting out human to bring forward the beast inside almost everyone. In moments her face longed out to a raptor skull with flesh and bone, and her leg once burned still was, but changed acorssing to a raptor. Fully pure scaled she sent a swipe of her claws on her arm across a dogs muzzle. It yelped loudly, and the pack who a few where over at Alec about two dropped there attack on him to focus on taking out the monster. She stood up on her legs now with a hiss like growl as many came up to face her with there own snarls of anger. Her eyes shined of anger as she made the first move to attack the dog below her. Her feet extended the deadly blades to stab straight though the closest dog's skull with crushing noises, and quickly blood began to come form the wound. The dogs backed up with wide eyes at there once leader, and maybe two where still doign low growls at her. Though with a smirk she leaned her head down to roar into there faces with mad anger, and to there smart pick they ran off.

His mind was reacting seconds to late to things, a dog would clamp its teeth around his forearm and he wouldn't move. Three seconds later though, he would realise it was there and try to get it off of him. Alec was practically surrounded by the dogs, and he couldn't move. His hands spluttered with flames, but it only took the clever animals a few seconds to figure out that the fire wasn't lasting. Somehow he found himself on the ground, and his eyes looking up to the dogs as they paused for a second. A few of them ran off, and some turned to fight off something that he couldn't see. What was making them act the way they were?
He heard a sound that sounded a whole lot like a roar, but he couldn't really locate where the sound was coming from. It seemed to be bouncing around in his head.
Searing pain shot up his leg, and he lifted his head a little to see what. A dog had managed to get it's muzzle around the skin just about his ankle bone, and had it's teeth sunk deep into his flesh. Locking eyes with the animal, Alec gave the thing a quick kick to the snout, but it only sunk it's canines deeper in. He groaned softly, foot dropping back to the ground. Where were all the rest of the dogs? Why weren't they attacking too?

Tired, woren she turned to find Alec struggling with a lone dog that was clamped around his ankle been tightly with already blood seeming to pour from the wound the dog created She turned with her hard lungs takign in gulps of air from her wound opened, but with a last bust of her power she took towards the dog with her claws scrapping the ground like blades across rock. She leaped over his layed body to come straight down on the dogs back with almost ever single cell bleeding in anger and busting inside of her to life. Whatever to dog seen was the last of its sight after her claws came down on its raised back to crush it downward with his claws, and that easily snapped the spine like a bone would. With he claws dug deeply into the flesh she turned her long neck around for her jaws to clamp down on its neck with a tight hold. Air was felt between her teeth as the dog took in last breaths. Her eyes blinked onces before jerking it easily in half to rip the head apart form the body itself, and that ended the horrid attack.
With her claws she reached them out of the dead body, but even then she coudl smell a sight bit of blood in her nose that was close. She could see the boy, and his name...she couldn't care at the moment as she seen his body. If he did get mad she had no care, it was only about getting them out of this blood zone and to the river to clean there bodies. Weakly she moved over to Alec's to tap her nose on his chest gently and taking a few seconds of not breath she coudl hear soft breathing coming from his chest to show he was alive. Smiling softly she pushed her head under his back before letting his body almost roll onto her back with alot of weight. He was heavy, but the fact she must gave her the strength to turn back towards the scent of the river and then walk slowly with harsh breaths. as she walked she stole a glance at her leg which was flesh opened more then before, and the dogs seeming to go for it drove there teeth into the bone of her leg where a small crack was shown inside her leg. She won't be surpirsed it her eyes began to get blurry, but she knew without heading to the river they might become a next meal so with a small whince she picked up her pace to the river in small trots.

He wasn't exactly mad, but then again he wasn't happy either. Actually, Alec wasn't exactly feeling much of anything. Being numb from head to toe, laying out at an odd angle across Lulu the Raptor; he wasn't up for much. His right hand was out stretched and pressed against her lower neck, while his left; which had a pretty big gash across it, was gently resting on the Raptor's rib cage. The creature wasn't very big, so he wasn't very comfortable with the angle he was at. Both his legs were drawn up, and the one with blood running into his sneakered foot was barely touching the base of her tail. Every jostle or little bump that put pressure to that foot hurt like crazy.
He had scratches, Bruises, and small wounds all over. This was oddly formiliar, and yet he couldn't think of why. Turning his head, Alec looked up at the underside of Lulu's head. For some reason, he found it hilarious that he was riding on a raptor. Not a horse, not a mule, but a Dino. Grinning, Alec laid there, laughter racking through his body. He was pretty sure he was loosing it.

Softly she could feel a sort of happy feelign in Alec on her back, but even for her in was getting evermore tired to keep her body moving. She knew the wound was bleeding out like crazy, and each time she moved the wound only bled a bit more, but even for her she knew she must countine on even in inside it was battle for her soul. With her pace steady soon she could hear the soft bit of crashing water in her ears even thoguh her eyes even began to grow blurry again, but with her best she could do she reached her head aroudn to grab the neck of his back shirt with her teeth. It must have felt werid to be picked up like that, but with her head turned she set him down on the ground near the bank with what was left of her strength to do any actions.
For what seemed liek moments she standed there only taking in breaths of air to keep herself going. Tired. She was so tired. Everywhere felt like it was on fire again, and with her face covered in blood the scent was so overwheling she could barely tell even if she was bleeding or not anymore. With a few short breaths her body body moved over towards the bank the sip up the cold water that flowed down the bank, and once it touched her belly a hunger made her belly rumble with a empty feeling surrounding her. With a lift of her head from the water she began to feel a slight bit of a song appearing in her voice, and it seemed as if she could sing it okay in any form. She guessed it was the same one her parents sang to her, or her brother, but she never could remember the words correct, but now in a sight lift again of head she closed her eyes with soft care. Just as the song began to play like a music in her head her body sat down on the bank with her head straight up at the sky. It did not move once, only for a breath a few moments the song trapped her in a dream inside her mind.

Grace's jaws were to strong for Shawn alone to just pry at. She loved the taste of his cold blood. It sent chillz down her spine. She continued to lick up the blood drooping out. When Shawn tried to speak, Grace retracted her teeth from his wrist and gave him a cold stare. Her black pupils stared into his, which would send any mere man cowering with fear. Grace howled into the air, sending an echo throughout the outside area. What could he do? He was just puny prey. A humans life didn't matter much, they would die all the time. As Grace stared deeper into Shawn, she felt uneasy. This wasn't her. This wasn't a small weak girl who had been lcked up her whole life. She wasn't a monster. Then what was this thing? This thing that was about to convour Shawn whole? She had to stop.

Grace tried to fight it. She tried to get at least one paw to move, but it was too late. The smell of his blood was overwhelming. Grace howled one more time in the wind. She then returned her gaze toward Shawn, and gave a fierce growl at his face. What could he do?

Even when the collar of his shirt practically linched him, he was still laughing. Yeah, it was evident that he was, of course, loosing it. Staring into the water, Alec ran both hands over his hair, chuckling all the while. It wasn't the time to laugh the whole thing off and pretend it didn't happen, but thats what it seemed like his mind was trying to force him into doing. Just like last time.
Last time, he mused to himself, a smile tugging on his lips as he thought about the phrase. Last time didn't end very well though. . . Reminding his mind of the 'last time' this had occured, Alec snapped back into the present. They'd just been attacked by a pack of dogs, and Lulu was hurt. The numbness from earlier had worn off a little, and when he turned to find Lulu, he was surprised to find her by the bank of the water.
Alec made his way over to her- which took a whole lot of effort to not just fall back down again and give up, every step sending pain up his leg. Still though, he wanted to make sure she wasn't going to die or anything. After setting her on fire, he felt responcible for any outcome that she came to from here on out.
"Lulu?" His voice was soft, not wanting to startle her in her raptor form. If truth were to be told, Alec was a little afraid of her in this form. From here, Alec could see that she was hurt worse then he had thought before, and he knew that she needed some sort of medicine to help her wounds heal up without infection.

Her eyes slowly opened before moving one towards his direction, and in a sence narrowing maybe by a little few dots though she knew it was just so she could fully make sure he would not try to anything against her. Even now she felt weak, and alone she knew she might become a meal if she could so with a small glare it could do nothing and or course she was still nervous about him losing his sanity. Though she knew she must at least give him some sort of sence she was not really lost to her former half. So with a soft nod she leaned herhead forward so that her nose was just inches from his own. Or course if she desired his head could fit inside her jaws, but as of right now she felt her mind in control of the raptor. Usually the only time when she lost it to be almost shoved back into a different part of darkness was when she was hungry, hunting, or in extreme pain at the brink of death, and also with Venom Gas as well that people used against animals too, even now a days it was used. Many days after she transformed she learned of the gas's dangerous effects on both animals and humans if it hit your lungs. Many stories tell it was as if everything was shut off to leave on only the evil side on for one's self, and mostly she had even seen if begin used once on her brother too. Before he turned as well. Horrid it was, and she never could forget his first job with it, the killing of there own parents. Letting out a sigh she dragged herself back to the world she was in she see Alec banged up like a old car would be. He had cuts on his arms, purple spots laying his body, and holes inside skin from the dog attack, but she was not much better. She owned a long gash along her leg where the fire burned, and with it the flesh was mostly torn away to leave only the other side left and a crack of the bone to see as well, but other then that she felt alright to mostly everything else. Looking down at Alec she gently pushed her nose at his hair as if a dog would when they wanted attention. She knew he might ask her to change back, but she knew if she might the pain might be too much to handle in her human, so she might pass out form lack of blood that even now seemed to drip out of the wound; she knew she must stay this way or risk going down under.
