Hunter sat next to her. He was not sure what to say so he was silent.

Cecelia wasn't sure what to say either, and sighed. "Are you being forced into this whole arranged marriage thing?"She asked, not in a rude way though. Of course, she knew that was probably a stupid question, but she kind of wanted to hear the reaction to it.

Hunter nodded slowly, "Yes. I am being forced into this."

Cecelia nodded ,"For what reason?"She asked, then gave her own little example," Like, for example, my parents want me out of the house so they don't have to worry about me when their gone for weeks solid."She propped her elbows up on her knees and rested her chin in her hands, staring blankly ahead.

Hunter said nervously, "I am not sure. My dad didn't tell me." He felt very nervous telling her this.

Cecelia raised an eyebrow, but didn't press him further and nodded. "Hm."

Hunter glanced at her, "How long have you lived here?"

"My whole life,"Cecelia said, sounding depressed about saying that aloud.

Hunter asked quietly, "You dont like it here do you?"

"Honestly? No. Not really."Cecelia sighed heavily,"I mean, it looks nice and all, and the house is nice...but...it's just lonely. This house is not a home by any means."
