Portal/2 Roleplay Invite Only

Derek walked over to Jacob and helped him up. "Okay, that worked." Derek said. "But I don"t think it'll work if we have to jump further." He frowned, and picked up the cube, setting down on the button. He was about to walk through the doors, when he stopped suddenly, and turned around. "Hang on, I want to try something." He shot a portal on the panel that stuck out, and then one in the hole, and jumped down. His ears popped as he went through the portal, and he sped up. The next thing he knew he was about to crash into the portal-proof wall. He shoved his feet out in front of him, hoping they would cushion the impact.

"Use the springy metal bit to push off, flip and land like that" Jacob called

Derek did as Jacob said, and was relieved as his feet touched the ground. "Well, it works!" He called after calming down. He stood where the cube had been a little while ago. He moved the portal off the panel so that he didn't almost fly into a wall again, then jumped down through the portal. He landed near Jacob with a grin. "We can do that next time." He suggested, shrugging.

"Definitely. Anyway. Let's see what she has lined up for us next... Aw man, not another one" Jacob said when another elevator stood in front of them. "Don't expect me to be the brightest when we get out of this thing... I fainted last time" he warned Derek as he pushed the call button.

"Oh." Derek said, feeling sort of bad for Jacob. It must stink to get sick from an elevator. "Well, we better go, before GLaDOS gets mad at us again." He said, frowning, and stepping into the elavator.

"I'd so much face her wrath than go in there again." Jacob mumbled, stepping in. He shut his eyes.

Derek frowned. He had no clue that it was that bad. "It'll be over quick..." He muttered, as the elevator began to move. Up or down, he wasn't quite sure.

Jacob groaned. He sat down and put his head between his knees. "Ugh, why can't she kill me already?"

GLaDOS: "That is always an option if you want" she said
