Artyom blushed, then paled when Bella mentioned doing...that, "He** no! We're not gonna do that for at least another six months." He gaped.

Ruber chuckled, embarrassed, "Hey, I'm surprised I could read English. I haven't read a written word in...well a few decades." He muttered.

Bella rolled her eyes. "She's a mermaid. If you let her sing for you, then you'll be doing a lot more than kissing in a matter of moments. They're temptress creatures. It's how they are--that's factual, not me being a b*tch." She said matter-of-factly.

Eldowyn laughed. "Well, slow clap for you, then." She said, clapping for Ruber. "I finished that paper a while ago. If you want to can check your answers with mine." She offered.

Artyom glared at her, "She's teaching me how to sing, not singing for me. I seriously doubt she will do that." He argued.

Ruber didn't bother asking what a slow clap was, "Thanks." He said and got back to writing, glancing at their textbook every few seconds.

Bella sighed heavily. "It's not conscious decision. If she sings, men want to get in her pants... or, fins. It won't be her doing, it'd be yours." She stated, "That's what a mermaid's song does."

Artyom was suddenly glad he never heard Velydia sing, "Whatever." He mumbled, "I won't do that."

"You'll have no choice." Bella hummed, "But go ahead, test the theory, if you like." She smiled at Artyom. "But we have a test in elemental control tomorrow. I suggest you get some sleep. Do you need to borrow my notes? You were talking with Velydia all period."

Artyom decided to ignore Bella's first statement, "Nah, I've been alive longer than that teacher. I know everything there is to know." He said.

Bella laughed. "Uh huh. Okay, Art. Because I'm sure you know the average time it takes for a fully grown adult male lycanthrope to shift fully from man to wolf. Correct?" She hummed, reading the question directly from her notes.

Artyom gave Bella a glare, "What the he** does werewolf-shapeshifting stuff have to do with element control!?" He said, then paused, remembering a movie he had seen, "Two minutes, right?"

Bella laughed, "It's a bonus question because we were talking about precious metals and then silver and the teacher happened to have a fascination with lycans... spent the entire period talking about it. You would know if you'd been paying attention." She stated. "And no. That's for young females. For adult males, it's four." She said.
