Malum Mansion (Accepting)

Shay took a deep breath and started towards the towering mansion. It looked old fashioned, a bit creepy being shadowed by the sky scraper tall oak trees. But it also had that cozy appearance as well. She put a soft smile n her face as she trudged up the rocky and gravely road. She slipped a few times, almost falling, but she soon regained her balance. Waving her first few mistakes, she was still left with a positive vibe. She trudged up the last few steps and up to the mansions grand oak doors. She tugged on the doors, but they didn't budge. She tugged harder, and harder still, and finally, she felt it give way. With end last tug, it flew open. She almost flew backwards in the process, but she luckily didn't. She stepped forward with her luggage and peered inside the light mansion. Light poured in through the tall windows. She stepped inside and closed the door behind her.

Levi watched as the girl entered the building with curiosity staining his thoughts. "Hmm..." Maybe he should go greet her? After all, it was most likely possible that most of the mansion's inhabitants were off doing their own thing or catering to the needs of the earlier new arrival. ...Levi repeated the last thought in his head with a bit of a bothered look. It didn't sound right- wasn't there a better way of saying that? It got Levi pondering uselessly, but he shook his head anyways and decided on following her in. The boy was bored like no tomorrow- and he's been meaning to make more friends. Why not start with this new girl?

The dragon slipped through the door and stood behind the girl quietly. He stared, blinking owlishly as he planned his next move. "..Hi there, person!" He practically beamed, any strategic move or thought shoving itself out the window of his mind. Levi wasn't much for deep thinking anyways. Why should he have to start now?

Shay whirled around when she he's a voice and cried out loud when she saw him. She placed her hand over her heart and took a deep breath. It seemed like the boy has come out from nowhere. She instantly felt the need to shift into her snow leopard form, but she resisted the urge. She dropped her hand and inspected the boy.
"Hi" she finally said, and cautiously.

Levi was very elated that he hadn't been ignored, and quickly went over to shake her hand. It didn't cross the young boy's mind that people liked space- and that suddenly advancing towards someone with a too-cheery-to-be-healthy smile might intimidate some (or put them on edge; whichever you prefer to say). "Yeah! Hi to you to once again new person! Welcome, welcome! How are you, aye?" He beamed and forgot to introduce himself once more, reaching the distance and now standing in front of her by only a foot. He extended a hand friendly and cheerful, overly happy at the prospect of friendship between someone he's never met before. Levi was a harmless kid, but the pointy teeth from his dragon lineage always said otherwise.

Shay was still a bit wary about this kid. But she decided to give him a chance. She grinned and took his hand, shaking it firmly, but briefly. She let go and put her hand back around the metal handle bars of her suitcases.
"I'm fine. Just a bit eager to get all this into my room" she said, smiling a bit at her bulging suitcases and duffel.
"My names Shay" she added.

Levi nodded and listened, letting the girl end their brief handshake. "I see! I didn't know Malum took in expectants! That's pretty comforting in a way." He told her, thinking about it with his sharp smile (sharp as in razor teeth sharp). Hmm...Was expectants even a words? No, probably not- but who was Levi to care? He and his brother weren't expecting to see Malum at all- but it came to them anyways- mighty and glorious. It made him smile appreciatively despite it all when he heard the girl (well, Shay now) introduce herself. He grinned. "Oh I forgot to introduce myself too! I'm Levi! Levi Amsel at your service!" He grinned and pointed to himself. "I'm dragon, what about you?" He asked this all at once, cheery and bubbly as expected. Levi wasn't one for personal space unless Amos was there to tell him all about it.

But Amos wasn't here right now- Amos was off being a poop by staying cooped up in his room. Shaking, and crying, and being scared because he was Amos. Amos; the timid little human who is afraid of everything but sleep and beds (and anything that has to do with them in the innocent way).

Shay nodded, hanging to his every word, not wanting to miss a thing.
"I shift into a snow leopard" she said nonchalantly.

"A snow leopard?" Levi echoed into a question- not that it needed to be confirmed- and smiled even more. "That sounds cool! I wonder... I don't think I've seen a snow leopard before- being a dragon and all." Levi was mostly referring to how exclusive dragon were known to be. He wasn't sure if it was true for all dragons- but the ones he herded with definitely fitted that particular criteria to a T. He went quiet for a moment, thinking.

It was after a minute of blank blinking that Levi smiled wider and decided to continue his social mannerism. [color=#800000]"Hey, did you live with other snow leopards too? Or Did you live with a lot of other people? Malum is full of a lot of people- a lot of different types of people! It's so fun, I've only been here for a bit- but I like it a lot already!" He rambled on, being the talkative (and a bit insensitive) sort.[/color]

"Your assignment will probably come through soon," Luke said. When newcomers arrived, an alert was sent through the invisible shield. He'd been here the last time Malum had stopped by for a visit and she'd explained to him exactly how it went. Whenever someone went through her shield and stumbled upon the Mansion, she would know. Then the magic that was deeply ingrained in the Mansion itself would assign a room. The person's name was then etched upon the door. It was fairly simple, although it might be a little unsettling to those who didn't understand magic. As a creature formed entirely of magic, Luke just found it kind of interesting. Mostly, however, he didn't care.
"Anyway, you might have to stay in here for a couple days. I don't want you to get infected," Luke added. He smiled gently at Danika.
