Danny blinks, surprised, and looks down at his hands. He was sorry that the little girl didn't know her mom was probably long dead, but shrugged it off. all ghosts were different, and if this little girl wanted to stay here, she should be able to. he knew most didn't agree, but she seemed harmless. he didn't care.

Jessie noticed a boy talking to a ghost. 'Poor boy.' She thought. 'He's going to get flooded with ghosts right away.' As if on cue, several ghosts surrounded the boy, all yelling at him at the same time, not knowing about the other ghosts.

Zoey felt bad for making the ghosts all verbally go after the boy. She skipped past the girl who was watching the boy, and smiled at her brightly. She had heard of post-shifters going after ghosts and that was scary. She kept skipping along, humming a cheerful tune.

((btw. Ghosts can't see other ghosts, even if the ghost was a post-shifter. The ghosts just saw Danny talking to thin air and knew he was talking to a ghost.))

Jessie watched the little ghost girl skip by and then looked back at the boy. She didn't want the boy to suffer so she ran over to the ghosts and started yelling. "Shoo! away with you!" the ghosts all vanished in thin air and she was left alone with the boy.

Danny held up his hands to fend off the ghosts. "Okay, okay. All of you, just leave me alone," he says, feeling exposed. he wasn't used to being the center of attention, and it made him uncomfortable.

Danny looked at the girl who'd shooed away the pestery ghosts. he smiled stiffly, then looked down at his feet. "Thanks for that," he muttered.

((that's fine. I was just bored and wasn't sure when you were going to be on again.))

"No problem." Jessie said. "I'm used to being surrounded by ghosts. I'm Jessie by the way." She said, holding out her hand in a greeting.

Zoey watched the two humans, amused. She had heard of ghosts younger than her turning into shades. mostly it was because of loneliness, fear or sadness. She wasn't lonely, afraid or sad in her opinion. The post-shifters she met always tried to figure out why she died, and she always told them the same thing, she was drowned in chemicals. She just wanted her mother really. She gripped the teddy bear she carried around, her mother had left it with her body when she buried it in the middle of the same park which she was in. Nobody seemed to care that a little girl had gone missing after a few years.
