Personality: Emina is very loyal to her friends and trusts others easily. She has a pure and kind heart and wishes for peace and happiness, always thinking of others before herself. But she can be very gullible at times. Emina dislikes being alone and tends to worry too much as well. She can be generous to a fault.
She also believes she is cursed due to her being the ‘host’ of Guilt-na-zan - the cause of her family’s death.
History: Emina was grew up happily with her older brother, Kain, and her two parents. She knew very little about her family’s demon, Guilt-na-zan, and often watched her brother during his intense training though she didn’t quite understand the importance of this demon.
As she rarely left the house, she didn’t have many friends outside her home but she didn’t mind. She did feel lonely at times while her older brother was in training.
Kain was the one she loved most and she always was seen around him when he wasn’t in training.
Kain tried to get her to bond with other people as he knew she probably wouldn’t have much time left of her life if he did gain Guilt-na-zan but he didn’t tell her this, finding it better that she didn’t know much about the demon.
Emina seemed reluctant at first, finding it hard to trust anyone other than her brother. Eventually though, she became friends with a boy named Yasushi Torikkusuta, a close friend of Kain’s. From him, she met Kaito Izumi and once getting to know him better she met his billion friends. Now, she would no longer be lonely.
The four of them soon became close, even if Yasushi and Kaito did argue at times, and only made this friendship closer by spending lots of their free time together whether it be studying, training or simply mucking-about.
Things changed when Emina got Guilt-na.
After losing control of the blood-thirsty demon minutes after becoming its ‘host’, she murdered her parents in this state and nearly killed Kain as well. Somehow, he managed to seal Guilt-na and leave Emina in a stable condition.
She doesn’t remember much of this event, only that when she ‘woke up’ from Guilt-na’s control that she had blood all over herself and that the motionless and mangled bodies of her parents were right in front of her.
Ever since then, she constantly blamed herself for everything and wondered whether there was anything she could do to make up for her sins.
Emina joined Kokana Base after living several years alone.
Other: She is childhood friends with Yasushi Torikkusuta and Kaito Izumi. Her older brother is Kain. She also possesses the demon/vampire Guilt-na-zan within her.

Powers: Master of many techniques. He’s even begun creating some of his own rituals. Kain specializes in close-combat.

Personality: Kain is an intelligent man though he is obsessed with power, to be specific, Guilt-na-zan’s power.
Kain believes
he deserves Guilt-na, not his younger sister, and aims to take Guilt-na away himself. He is rather cunning and has a personality very similar to Guilt-na’s which makes him confused as to why he wasn’t chosen as the successor.
Kain’s personality has changed dramatically over the years. He was once a kind and considerate person but has become sly and manipulative.
To put it simply, don’t trust his charming appearance as he really is just a dark and greedy soul inside the happy outer shell.
History: In Emina and Kain’s clan, one child was destined to gain Guilt-na-zan. Guilt-na-zan was an indescribable power that always got passed down the clan, generation by generation. As the older male, Kain was the one who was thought to be the perfect candidate for Guilt-na’s powers but... Emina got Guilt-na. Kain was left with nothing.
Because his sister hadn’t gone through the same training as Kain, she lost control of the demon minutes after gaining him. While under Guilt-na’s control, she killed her parents.
Kain witnessed this and managed to seal the demon deep into Emina’s body before he would become the next victim.
He is the only living relative Emina has.
Other: Emina is his younger sister. He has a desire to take Guilt-na-zan back as he believes the demon was meant to be his from the beginning.

Character: Guilt-na-zan

Species: Spirit
Powers: In Emina’s case, he gives her several telepathic powers and enhanced self-healing. A few other powers will be granted depending on how desperate she is though Guilt-na knows his ‘host’ prefers to use her own given powers rather than risk letting him out.
He feeds off negative emotions to enhance his own powers.

Personality: Guilt-na-zan is a murderous and cruel person who doesn’t talk a lot when not fighting. When he does, however, he will only say negative things.
Guilt-na-zan is fairly happy with his ‘host’, Emina, as he finds he doesn’t need to do a lot to make her feel bad, therefore strengthening his own powers from her negative emotions.
Guilt-na is rather cunning and always seems to be one step ahead of others.
The reason why he aims to eliminate Kain is because of the ‘deal’ he made with Emina’s ancestors. In order for him to remain in his ‘host’s’ body, he needs to make sure there are no other candidates from the same clan living otherwise his spirit will eventually split and be lost once again. Obviously, Guilt-na doesn’t wish to leave this world again and aims to remove Kain as soon as possible. He knows Emina is too soft to kill her own brother therefore he tries to take over her physical body to do it himself.
History: Guilt-na-zan was a feared Pureblood Vampire around 100 years ago. He regularly feasted on the blood of innocent humans until he was sealed by an ancestor of Emina and Kain’s clan.
From that moment on, he became a spirit that could only ‘live’ if he was combined with a physical body, his ‘host’.
His cruel powers were then given to one human from his captor’s clan, generation after generation.

He rarely shows his true demon form as even he finds it an overwhelming power.
Character: Yasushi Torikkusuta ((Meaning ‘Silent Tricker’))
Age: 17
Species: Wolf Neko
Powers: Yasushi specializes in illusion. His right eye is a strange red colour and that eye is the base of his illusions. He can’t control his power too well so that’s why he keeps his right eye covered-up (as seen below).
Weapon(s): A long katakana which he names
Raikou Ame which means ‘Lightning Rain’
Crush/True Love: None
Personality: Yasushi (also known as Yasu) is an intelligent boy. He always thinks before he says or does something. He is agile (both mentally and physically), straightforward and decisive.
He is a trustworthy person and tries to act like an older brother to Emina, instead of Kain. He seems to have a soft spot for her.
Though he might act tough act times, this big softly can’t help but rescue anyone who is in need of help.
History: Yasushi never had parents. He was created in a lab for experimental purposes and released when they no longer found any use for him.
As he’d never really seen much of the ‘outside world’, he found it difficult to cope on his own and the scientists saw this too. He adopted by a single woman who took care of him as if he was her own. As he grew, he began to make friends and socialize a lot. He eventually found two friends who he felt he had a strong bond with - Kain and Kaito Izumi.
Through Kain, he met Emina with whom he felt very much attached too from their first meeting though Emina obviously didn’t feel the same way.

Character: Kaito Izumi ((Meaning ‘Ocean Spring’))
Age: 17
Species:Powers: Kaito has a very small amount of magic power and prefers to use his weapons instead of magic if he must fight. He can, however, take over another’s body by wounding them with his special sword or by sampling their blood. He can also bend blood to his will but due to his extreme fear of blood, he never uses this power.
Weapon(s): Sword and Claws (both shown below). The steel claws are dipped in poison.
Crush/True Love: Pretty much any girl he lays his eyes on…
Personality: Kaito is a flirty boy who loves to socialize with others, especially girls. He doesn’t seem to take a lot seriously and has a lot of spare time on his hands for someone his age.
He is very easily distracted, having the attention-span of a mosquito, prone to spacing-out. He’s rather child-like and he’s very bad at guessing the situation, in other words, he tends to say the wrong things at the wrong times. If someone just lost their mother, he’d be the one to say ‘I miss my mum, I’ll go visit her!’ without knowing what he did wrong. This gives him that child-like innocence. He’s not one to get angry and always forgives others.
He also accepts everyone good and bad points, strengths and weaknesses and faults and is willing too show his own as well… sometimes, he’s a little too eager…
Despite this, he’s a rather playful boy who frequently neglects work given to him and sleeps an awful lot. And when it comes to intelligence… let’s say that’s definitely not his strong point.
Kaito has an extreme fear of blood and dislikes fighting because of this. And if he does fight, he’ll often hit the enemy with the other side of his sword as he doesn’t like blood spillages, often fainting if he gets close to any source of blood.
History: It was only at the age of 7 that Kaito was told he had a twin sister and actually met her in person. His parents never explained why he’d never met her before then but then again, Kaito never asked. He was frustrated to know that he was the
younger twin (Hoshi repeatedly reminds him of this fact and takes advantage of it).
As Kaito grew, he grew close to Yasushi and Kain. Soon after, he met Emina who he immediately fell for. But due to an over-protective older brother, he never really got much of a chance for a whole lot of romance with her. Of course, Emina remained oblivious to the fact that Kaito had been crushing on her the whole time.
Once Kaito found out about Kain’s disappearance and Emina’s job as a ‘host’, he deliberately dropped all contact with her. It wasn’t that he
didn’t want to talk or comfort her, it was more like he thought it would be
better if he didn’t as Kaito knew he had a habit of bringing up the wrong subjects at the wrong time and was almost certain that talking to Emina would only cause her more pain.

Character: Hoshi Izumi ((Meaning ‘Star Spring’))
Age: 17
Species: Powers: Due to experiments being done on her when she was small, she has the following abilities:
* Able to communicate with any creature (human or not)
* Create force fields
* Complete control over Light and Darkness
* Able to change into a winged-wolf
Weapon(s): Small assassin knifes and a silver pistol
Crush/True Love: None
Personality: In contrast to her twin, she’s usually a very serious woman who finds her little brother’s interest in woman rather disturbing. She’s very close to Yasushi and they always share stories about Kaito’s idiocy.
When she’s away from many of her friends she likes to hang out on the streets, mucking around with others, skateboarding, chilling out and if she’s really bored, she just might start a little fight with some gangs. To ‘test out’ her fighting skills as she tell her parents who aren’t amused by the bruises and wounds she comes home with.
Despite all this, Hoshi doesn’t like to show her ‘fun’ side to friends as she wants to remain as a positive and respectable influence in their view.
History: Hoshi was put into the same laboratory as Yasushi as soon as she was born. Due to her unique DNA structure (belonging only to those in the Izumi clan) she was experimented on frequently. Though there were few failures in her operations, they were forced to return Hoshi back to her parents as she was born with a weak body and couldn’t withstand such treatment.
When Hoshi came back to her true family, she was pleasantly surprised to find out she had a younger twin brother named Kaito.
For several months after returning, she had to stay in bed as her weak body had been under so much stress for such a long time, she needed rest.
Unlike Kaito, she never really found much interest in romance though quite a few boys found interest in her.
