I'm getting a Cornsnake!~

Okay, so... I finally got the courage up to ask my dad if I could get a cornsnake. HE SAID YES!~ Kinda... What he really said was that I could get one if I proved to be responsible. In other words, I'll have to work for it. (I also think he's probably testing me to see if I'm serious about getting one, which I am.)

But I can do that! I can be useful just like everyone else. I'm so confident that I already have a list going of what I'll need for my new little friend. I've also been looking through the different color morphs of cornsnakes to see what color I'd want most. My little brother will be getting one also, if we're lucky. He's helping me to keep reminding dad about it and in return wants one for himself... I'm fine with that, provided he can afford to keep it fed and healthy.

Of course, we'll probably get everything at Petco, which is ok I guess. Choices will be limited though and I'd rather get one from a private breeder. Hopefully I'll have the little guy/girl by my birthday this summer...

My little bro is going to name his 'Fluffy', in memory of the first snake we got. As for me, I'm not 100% sure what I'll name mine. I'm hoping to get either a Blizzard, Butter, or Reverse Okeetee corn.

Blizzard : A beautiful pure white snake. Runs at about $65...

You're getting a snake? OMG lucky!!!!!! I would get a snake if I didn't have my dogs, though if I could choose between them and a snake, I would choose the dogs.
