Brute | Healer | Mood: Enraged / DeterminedHawk grumbled as he stared down at the injured Sage. Just wonderful that the pack members were fighting amongst themselves for seemingly no reason now. This turn of events would certainly lead to Hawk being stuck in the Healer's den tending wounds for the rest of his waking hours and the once enthusiastic wolf didn't like the idea of that. Not one bit.
He didn't belong in the Healer's den anymore. Leylak was perfectly capable of handling the upkeep of this rag-tag pack herself. Granted that she wouldn't be able to spend all her time chattering with Xavier like a bunch of sparrows in spring. Hawk couldn't help but grin at the thought.
*Yes. That will keep her away from him* he though gleefully. The brown and red brute glared down at Sage who still lay in the clearing bleeding as Leylak tried her best to tend to her. His breath billowed against the cold air as he inhaled and spoke harshly to the two faes,
"I have more important things to do then this." Not bothering to see weather or not either of them had heard him, he stepped over Sage's limp body and trotted briskly towards the healers den where Harlow lay with Larkryn. His tail streamed out him as he padded up and glared at the den through narrowed emerald eyes.
Hawk had made up his mind then and there that after today he never wanted to set a paw back into the healers den. That dreaded place and rank had kept him prisoner for many seasons now, forcing him to heal wounds when he would have much rather caused them. Inhaling a gust of cold air he step confidently into the den, not even waiting for an invitation. Seeing that Harlow was awake, albeit a bit confused looking, Hawk spoke without even thinking as the words slipped from his lips. "
I reject my rank Harlow," he spoke as he stood with his solders squared and tail held high in defiance.
"I no longer wish to use my powers of healing. I wish to become a fighter and protector to this pack." He glanced at Harlow's pelt that had been stained crimson with his blood earlier that morning.
"You know just as well as I do that I'm fully capable to using my fighting skills and with a enemy prowling the forest I'm more needed out there than in the healers den." Hawk finished what he had to say and stood waiting for Harlow's response.
((Dangit Hawk behave yourself >.> ))
