River pack

Swift lowered herself at the top a small waterfall. Below her was a deep pool. her tail sticking out behind her. The lead warrior scented the air to make sure that she was at the right pool. The fae looked into the carefuly scaning for a brook trout or salmon. A flash of pinkey silver cought her eye as a mis sized salmon flashed in the water. Without a moments to spare she leaped into the pool, thrashing about for the fish before she finaly cought it in her jaws. The fae pulled herself out of the river, and shook out her pelt. "its a good thing I'm not a hunter!" she said aloud before trotting back towards camp with her plump prey.

Cliff pack

Bren lowered himself on a tall cliff, his tail out behind him. The white wolf was careful to hide his pelt in the underbrush. The scent of goat filled his nostrils as a gust of wind ruffled his fur. He looked down and could see on a ledge below him a goat. It was a young male goat, its horns nearly just starting to curl. The aged lead hunter waited till the right moment when the billy leaned over to chew at some stray grass to leap off his ledge and onto anouther one just below it. His large paws gripped the damp rock as he leaped onto the back of the goat, catching it by surprise. he bit hard into its scruff by the spine, cutting off vital coordination to the legs. The goat collapse and Bren made the final killing blow to the small goat and it was dead.

Plains pack

Wood paced outside his den, thoughts running through his cranium. When will pups be in this pack? What would he teach them? Will they like him? That was woods life: pups. Pups were all he thinked about. How he loved them! The brute chuckled to himself as he imagened what fun they would have, him and the new pups.

A slender, agile red fae was perched on a tall rock in her pack's cave. This was the Alpha rock, the special place for the Alpha wolf to lounge around or call meetings. Today she was just there to observe her camp. Having arrived in the mountains less than a week ago, the cave was still fairly new. It was about halfway up the mountain, and it was big enough to shelter the entire pack. Well, when it became a proper pack that is. Right now only a handful of wolves occupied the space. Mirri stepped outside the cave into the sunlight. The territory was mainly made up or ledges and rock tumbles. The little grass that sprung up around the cave was tough and springy. A spring gurgled near the entrance of the cave, bubbling up into a clear pool. Thorny bushes sprung up from crevices here and there, offering shade to hares and if your unfortunate, snakes. They tasted bad, and if you were bit by one, it could be lethal. Stretches of grass dotted the mountain, offering places to run and stretch without stumbling on steep ledges. Mirri closed her eyes in relaxation as a fresh mountain breeze blew around her red fur, tugging it gently. She turned back to the cave and picked up a hare, the rabbit species that lived in the mountains, and ate it.
