Dark furrowed her brow after the fight ended. Wow. Alright then. There wasn't much time to relax before a mare showed up, one she had never seen before. Dark narrowed her eyes at the two, wondering if once the new mare was gone, if she should go and support Makkila. She decided against it and waited until the other horses cleared out.

Makkila sighed and nuzzled the body of her mate for the last time. With a sad lament-like cry, she left to see if she had anywhere she could potentially go. There was Euphoria or Cavalia if they were still in Utasia, Tartarus was as good as dead to her and Elysium and her brother Kourisio were dead. With that last depressing thought though, there was her sister Treeshka. Word was she found a stallion not long after running from Karma. She whinnied out to see if her sister heard her.

Gold: after his encounter with a challenging mare he went to find Asha. He found her grazing he called "Hello Asha."

Cavalia left the waterfall to go to the watering hole. He was now three years old and he looked exactly like his father had at three. Just by the way he walked you could tell there was power in his stride.

I trembled, weak kneed, as I watched some horses by the lake, near me. I headed deeper into the water, letting it reach my belly and submerging my legs. Green eyes sparkling - in fear - I whinnied. Wading back out, I struggled over to the trees, vanishing between the dense branches, and my tail flicked again. Damn it! I scolded myself. Stop spreading your heat scent! But I couldn't help it, and flicked my tail about 10 more times, embarrassed by myself.

With a loud snort, I shook out my mane and peered through the branches, searching for someone - thing. Oh, god, a stallion! My eyes widened and I stretched my neck out further, then let out a shrill squeal as I tumbled down the rocky cliff, slicing a deep gash in my belly.

"Oh!" I moaned, struggling up, then falling back down onto my legs and letting tears spill over. Great. "Now I'm bloody and am in heat." Scowling, I dragged myself to the lake, dipping my legs and stomach in the water and whimpering quietly as the water stained red.

I looked over at Zanzibar, who I was standing beside. It was springtime, and I was exhausted, my eyes were rimmed. I dug my hoof into the soft soil, scowling at the grass. Yes, I missed meat horribly, but hey, I needed grass, and I promised Zanzibar.

Zanzibar . . . I looked at him again, and nuzzled him with a soft smile. I couldn't believe how much nicer I was, after him. "You're a magician, you know," I whispered as I nuzzled him, with a chuckle.
