Shibo blushed furiously at Ringmaster's comment and glared down at the ground, at a loss for words.

Ringmaster arched an eyebrow. "Oh? Is it a good surprise? Or one deserving of a beheading?" His gentle, preemptive threat hung in the air as he waited for an answer.

Kyu gripped at Sev's hand and grabbed the same arm with her other hand, as if keeping Sev close would somehow make the words come out easier. "I... I just don't like the thought of you getting an offer like that because I don't want you to accept it and... and leave me..." She glared down at the ground. She sounded so stupid. She sounded so fragile. Ya know what, this is stupid. She folded her arms against her chest and let out a huff. "Never mind!" she snapped, her usual harshness returning.

Sev turned to Kyu, his melancholy stormy grey eyes meeting hers. "I would never leave you." you said firmly in his quiet voice. He leaned forward, pressing his lips to hers, his hand in hers, as if reassuring the fact that he was there to stay.

Kyu sucked in a breath and scrunched her eyes shut. The kiss had caught her off guard. She put a hand on the back of Sev's neck and recieved the kiss with a desperatness as if she were taking Sev's silent promise in full. She'd hold him to it as long as they were still friends. Even if they faded to just good friends, she'd hold him to the promise. She broke away from the kiss and leaned her forehead against Sev's, her eyes flitting open and locking on his face. "Never?"
