Yeah... That's really when I started disliking the show.
I think it would have been more interesting to see Stitch destroy Hawaii, then try to get off the island so he could destroy the rest of the world. I would have loved to see that.
But no, he became kind with his new family, living his life as a pet dog, that nobody see's to be odd.
