[@ Everyone/Halo Nova ~ I will reserve you a spot then, and yes, backgrounds are completely up to you so that is fine with me. I have also went back and finally straitened up the front page so that it is easier to read who came from which kingdom and such. You can also see the positions opened for each kingdom and right now almost all of the Windhelm position's are filled and there are no more knight slots open for that kingdom.

Obsidian: To put it simply Obsidian is hostile and vicious. He trusts no one and nothing unless Adam okay’s it first, and even then he’s still unsure. He tends to fight first ask questions when the opponent is dead. Obsidian is also quite rude, but to Adam he’s just a playful rude and tends to play around with Adam rather than his cold hostile act her puts out for everyone else.
Jett: Jett, well put it this way. If you see her, you're dead, and if you hear her, well you're about to be dead. She's wild and savage and the only person she shows any level of affection too is Adam.

.: Personal History :.
“Well… where should I begin? I was born and raised in Pavalon, my mother died when I was four years old due to an unforeseen disease that swept through the city. My father was a blacksmith and had his own forge. He made quite a bit of money and was trying to teach me the arts of smithing. Of course I was stubborn because smithing just wasn’t for me, I was horrible at it plus it just didn’t seem like my calling. By the time I was eight I was stealing from places just to see if I could get away with it. I did too, very easily actually.
“When I was nine my father died, no one explained to me how he died but I’m sure he was murdered by someone. I got my gryphon Obsidian a few days after that. No family wanted to take me in, saw me as too much of a trouble maker and so I lived on my own for a few weeks until the Black Hands swooped in and absorbed me into their group. They spent years training me as an assassin. It felt right ya know? They had all kinds of assassin’s too ones who killed with magic, others with bows. Me though, I liked my knives. One of them said something about having never seen anyone as skilled as me with a knife, and somewhere along the way I picked up a direwolf and named her Jett.
“Well… I went through my training with them and after two years they declared me done, they couldn’t teach me anymore, and so they set me loose as an assassin.”

"Fears? What is there to fear?" Nothing as far as anyone knows, though he is secretly afraid of drowning.

"Too many scars to bother counting, none very significant though I have one running from my mid-forearm to the middle of my hand from a knife. As for tattoos..." He's got this burned into his left wrist, and this on the inside of his right wrist, this on his left hand, this in his ear, and this on the back of his neck.

Adam has an intriguing, or quite complicated personality. Usually one to cause chaos then sit back and watch his handiwork, Adam comes across as a cold, emotionless, vicious, cut-throat person who doesn’t care about anyone or anything else. At least that’s what people see when they brush the surface. Full of smart-ass comments, slang that no one understands, and private jokes only he gets he’s constantly getting into trouble. Whether it’s with the lawmen, the guards, his allies, wandering merchants, even the odd ‘tough guy’ he meets up with, he’s always out to raise a little hell.
His rough appearance doesn’t help his situation either, dangerous flashing brown eyes, pale skin with a few varying tattoos, scars, burns and nearly shoulder length ragged black hair. Adam, is well, impossible to get to know. He keeps everything hidden and kept to himself though his skills with scaling buildings, thievery of all sorts, fist fights, knife fights, and bar brawls. Still, even if you manage to get to know him he might hold out on you, ‘keep you in the dark’ so to speak. He tends to lie about things, and hold people at distance. Mostly it was his upbringing. He learned to trust only himself, and those he knew he could one hundred percent depend on, which in the end only turned out to be absolutely nobody.
Adam, even with his tough guy act towards authority, and his funny-man, smart-ass personality towards others doesn’t prevent his other emotions. Somewhat ‘weak in the mind’, Adam can easily go overboard on things, over exaggerate, and even his emotions and actions with go way overboard. You could almost call him bi-polar with frequent and varying mood swings he can go from totally calm, cool, and collected, to a burning inferno of anger and rage in less than a second. He tends to try and bottle up his emotions, and doesn’t like to depend on others or have others know what he’s thinking. Nearly a sociopath he knows what most people think before even they know. He can gauge a person’s personality, what they truly are, what they pretend to be, and everything just by observing their actions, speech patterns, looks, and multiple other factors.
He also isn’t shy to confront people or get right into their face, though he does usually give a few subtle warning before he explodes on you. Lean and short as he is, he may look weak but he is much, much stronger than you might guess. Years of physical exertion, and being raised as a member of the Black Hands he learned how to fight fast, and he learned how to fight well, with quick efficiency, that within a minute or less could leave his opponent bleeding out on the ground or out stone cold.
As for his job, well that’s something Adam takes pride in. He is one of the best assassin’s. He does his job quickly and efficiently leaving no evidence that another human killed his victim. He asks few questions about the job but he does however take his time figuring out his victim and their weaknesses. He mostly kills for money, but he is quite highly sought after to kill someone somebody else needs out of the way. Because of this though his prices can be kind of steep and although he may seem shady and untrustworthy he’ll do what he’s hired to do.
Adam may as well be that one person you always thought was going to grow up and go on a massive killing spree. His aggressive, defensive, behavior, the way he physically exerts himself and his emotionless penetrating gaze would usually keep people away from him. Though, it was mostly due to his upbringing and he lives by the motto; “Kill or be killed.” One might not think of Adam as the 'romantic' type and he usually isn't. He usually keeps his distance from people, holding them at bay to avoid physical or emotional pain on either side.
He's also immature; he's that one guy that talks slang, does stupid things, gets into fights, steals things and so on and so forth. He's never planned on making it to twenty, and plans to be dead before that ever happens. He's never wanted to ‘grow up’ and grow old and frail; “I'm here for a good time, not a long time.”

When you meet Elvira she’s quiet. Very quiet, but people are almost afraid of her when they see her. She’s not one for getting social and doesn’t talk to people at all. She usually just sits and glares at people she doesn’t know, eventually either she, or everyone else will feel awkward and one party or the other will eventually depart. She comes across as hostile, bitter, spiteful, and just all around rude and hateful when you first meet her.
If eventually you can gain Elvira’s trust enough for her to accept you as not an enemy then she’ll warm up to you. Once you get to know her she’s funny, energetic, spunky, happy, and maybe even then still a little quiet. And even if you can break down the wall enough to get her to open like that, she’s nothing like that at all. It’s just what she comes across as.
To really know Elvira she has to trust you with her life, and she doesn’t trust anyone. When you don’t know her is when you probably know her the best. She’s awkward, has no faith in herself, no faith in others, and really just kind of hates people and life itself. She used to be outgoing, and happy but eventually throughout the course of her short life it was one letdown after another and eventually she decided she needed to show no weakness. And to show no weakness, well she had to stop using her emotions. She started to cut off from people, withdraw and avoid them as best she could. She also quit caring about everyone and everything.
She started to bottle up emotions, not letting them show and trying not to let others drag her down. Externally she showed no emotion whatsoever so, but on the inside she is a boiling mass of negative emotions and thoughts. She’s not even sure who or what she is anymore, after she quit caring she lost herself. She’s become cold, hostile, blunt, and just brutally honest to people. They want to know the truth; well she tells them the truth straight up, no lying.
Elvira isn’t one for hurting people’s feelings, even if she is hostile and rude, she doesn’t try to hurt feelings when she says them, but she tends to lose herself into her anger. She’s also very bad for trying to please people, especially at her own expense and it causes people to take advantage of her and most of her ‘friends’ are there just because they can get her to do or get things they won’t do/get themselves. It’s gotten her hurt and in trouble too many times to count, and after a while she just quit trusting people even if she still tries to please people at her expense.
That being said, Elvira doesn’t take risky moves. At least not with people, she’s got a major fear of rejection so she keeps things to herself and doesn’t throw things out there like most people. And even though she tries so hard to push people away from her she secretly longs for someone to be there for her, someone to support her, someone to hold her when she’s afraid or cries. Quite frankly she just wants to feel like someone out there truly loves her.
