David sighed, then leaned on the railing of the life guard station. He watched as Jessica was giving a lesson to someone. He turned arouhd, then grabbed the goggles and began to look around the beach. Looking around, he didnt see anything out of the ordanairy. David shook his head, then walked down then steps of the station and began to take patrol. He turned around and watched Jessica as she had finished her lesson, then turned back around and heard someone yelling for help.
Jessica giggled, then said "Good job Falan." She then turned around and looked as her brother was walking away. She sighed, then got back her her lesson. She looked down at the little girl and smiled. "Soon, you might even be able to get in the water. I will help you with that as soon as we can." Jessica said, then patted the girl on the back. She smiled, then began to take her back over to her mother and father. "She's getting alot better, a couple more hours and two more days and then she'll be ready to try out the water." She spoke with a smile, then waved goodbye and began to walked backnover to her board and grabbed it. Jessica sighed, then watched the waves. She shook her head, but now she really didn't have anything to do today.
Remmy was sitting at the rocks on th far side of the beach and waited for Jessica to get there. One person she would accually talk to. She sighed, then felt dried out. She she dived back into the water and got wet again. She waited and then seen more people coming her way. She gasped and then went into the deepest end of the ocean by the rock. Remmy found a small cave and she laid in it and waited for them to leave.
Danny looked around and then sighed. He swam out of his coral house, then began to move around. He wanted to check out some new places, but he didn't want to go anywhere near humans at all. After all, his mother was killed by one. Danny sighed, then swam fast to peaceful place to where he would be alone for now. He looked around a the many things his mother gave him before she had died years ago. She didn't want anything to do with a human, bit it seemed like the things he had was from the humans.

The sisters Amberellie and Lorelei swam side be side, skittering along the underwater sand stirring it up in the clear blue water. Lorelei who had encountered and had nearly been killed by humans was a careful and tense as usual. On the other hand Amberellie who had not was carefree spinning corkscrews and flips in the water. "Will you be careful, Amberellie. Who knows what's around here." Lorelei scolded her sister who was technically older, but acted younger. "Lorelei, you're too tense. You have no idea how to have fun!" Amberellie teased flicking sand into her sisters face. "Haven't you heard of mersharks? They'll eat you up for a snack Am." Lorelei snarled. "No such thing and you know it Lorelei. That's just a creature made up by mermen to scare us." Am laughed. "That's what you think."

Gander walked along the beach next to his fathers resort hotel. The water lapped at his feet squishing the mucky sand between his toes. He ran his large tanned hand through his hair and watched the nearly clear water. Oh how he wished for a mermaid to leap up out of the water into his camera's range of fire. Ever since one saved his life in a boating accident and he told his friends the tale, no one believed a word he said calling him a 'compulsive liar.' So what?! He had a record for lying. Didn't everyone nowadays? His camera always hung around his neck waiting to snap that perfect picture that would clear his name and hopefully make his scornful dad finally for once proud of him.

Avalon skittered around the underwater rocks. Her dark grey tail flicked from side to side and her honey brown hair danced in the current. It was clear she had more shark blood in her than mermaid. Her canine teeth were pointed at the ends and ragged like a steak knife. She pushed herself through the wars powerful king with her shark's tail. Her eyes flicked above her at the surface searching for food. She hunted like her father, a great white, always scanning the surface looking for reasonable prey. Humans just happened to be on that list in times of desparation. Along side mermaids.

Matt was at the Surf Shack, where he worked
Sara walked onto the beach, taking photos of nature
Zach swam around, being careless as always
Lisha was swimming as she looked at the surface of the water. She had never been above it, I wonder.... she thought, slowly coming to the surface, not too far from the beach. Her shoulders were out of the water, but that was it.
Austin had made his way closer to where Amberellie and Lorelei were. His eyes looked up and watched them as he stayed on the ocean floor
Samantha was hidden far away in the Forbidden Sea, where shark and mersharks like to be
