"Yup. I'm 98.975% positive it is. If it was smart, it would have let me caught it." Rymth replied.

"Exactly! See. I'm glad we are on the same page." Rymth laughed.

Vitani forced herself to stand up. She weakly walked into the dark woods and howled again.

Vitani told him in a weak voice. "Bear...linchen...water..."she laid down exhausted. She looked at him, she shook when a slight breeze blew on her wet fur.

vitani said nothing, she felt like going to sleep but didn't, afraid she would never wake up...

Lichen trotted into the camp and to her den, her fur stained with tears, sand, and burrs from where she had to walk through bushes. She went to the stream and cleaned herself up, then went to her den. She put her head between her paws. NO! This is no time for mourning! she thought. That scent, it had been so familiar. She was sure it was Vitani's. She rotted out of the camp, past Shane's den. She would go see him later. She raced to where she had been. caught the scent, now two scents, and heard a howl for help. She raced in the direction it had come, She got a few leagues, then howled back, waiting for an answer

"Exactly! See. I'm glad we are on the same page." Rymth laughed.

'Yeah, same page." Ina said. Then she noticed the noticed the howling. Without warning she took off towards the noise. She ran and saw Vitani soaking wet and shivering and Rick nearby.

Rymth followed her. He fell behind, but still kept up. He was panting soon. Grr.... More running!
