I myself have a black lab named Jasper, and know I don't know how I would live without him! He is super mellow, because he fell off a footbridge (not a high one, don't worry) when he was younger and had to have surgery on his back right. He hurt his other back leg jumping into our car and he had to have surgery again! By that time his other leg was bothering him and we had our vet "clean it up a bit". Now just 6 years old, he is truly our million dollar dog! 3 surgeries, warm water therapy, acupuncture, one and lotsa lotsa love! He's doing a ton better and we love him very much!

He has tons of weird pecuilarities, like he always sits on this one red arm chair and barks at crows. he notices that when we sit on the couch we back onto it. So naturally he wants to be like us, so instead of jumping up onto the couch like any normal dog, he sort of wedges his back end up there. When he was more rambunctious he would grab my brother's Baseball mit and run off with it, and he still grabs cones and runs off with them. And sometimes on morning walks he'll grab the leash from your hand and just trot along with it in his mouth. Jasper also grunts, and his sad eyes will make you do anything!!!
