XD lol, My mistake on terms, sorry about that. Her relationship is almost like a sister, she is there for me, guards me in many spiritual senses, and will help talk things out with me. She can be very protective, yet will not provide me insight or information that I am not ready for. I would see my spiritual guide as my totem, due to my beliefs, and who is a completely separate entity from whom I am speaking of. My totem animal has come into my life just recently, my 'possible' dæmon has been around since the end of elementary school though not until a few years ago did we truly strength our bond and learn how to truly communicate and understand one another.

Welcome. ^^ I just want to warn you that human is not normally accepted as a viable form. Here's a nice overview of the issue. I don't personally have an issue with people believing what they want to, just saying that you may have a hard time supporting it in other parts of the daemian community.

Maybe she's closer to a headmate (autonomous to semi-autonomous mental presence)? :3 Daemon is only one of many ways of describing various parts of our consciousness.

Totem animals aren't normally considered daemons. Put simply, totems are what you aspire to be, daemons are what you are. ^^
