Abbie had been slumping against the hard rock walls, then looked up and around at the people watching them. The adults were frowning, but the kids laughed. "Mommy, Daddy, look at that one!" a small girl in pigtails giggled, pointing straight at Abbie. In response, Abbie glared and let out a small growl. "Yeah, laugh it up..." she spat, picking up a rock and chucking it up at the girl, but it only hit the side of the wall. Cursing under her breath, Abbie watched a few more people watching her and pointing, whispers of "look at that thing!" escaping their lips that were twisted into smirks, sneers, and grins.
