Sliding Into Darkness (Dusk)

Image

Here's my WIP! Sorry I know it's not very good it's my first time drawing on Oekaki. :) I did both because I love both drawing and writing. :)

Dusk had just been courting a female Nannuck in hopes of finding "the perfect match", as he believed Mara had been. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful. Tomorrow, he will be courting a new female Nannuck to fill the gaping hole in his heart.

One day, Dusk was trotting along the mountain slopes; happy as can be. He had a good reason to be happy, for he was in love. The pink-eyed, brindled Mara was his to keep. Dusk arrived at the overhang the he and Mara called home. The cove was unnaturally silent; stripped of the joyful humming that was Mara's habit. On the small stone mesa on the left side of the cave was a note written in the tongue native to Nannucks, Nordish. It read:
"Goodbye my love. I must go for I have found a new love.
I love you,
Mara <3"
Dusk stumbled out of the cave, shocked and subdued. He gingerly picked a flower under the overhang, then left, never to see the cove again. Dusk picked another flower, in search of a new companion to love.
