Hallie's ears perked up as she heard a raspy voice behind her, she quickly turned around and was both shocked and frightened to see a large yet majestic bird stood in front of her, the sunlight glistening off it's golden feathers. Hallie tried her best to stay calm, no sudden movements. "Nothing," she spoke as clearly as she could. "I was just visiting, I wanted to meet the owners of this habitat, I'm new here you see." Hallie smiled, slightly edging away from the eagle as slowly as possible. "My name's Hallie, you ... ?" She had decided to make the atmosphere around them feel a bit more friendly, at least we'll know each other's names if this eagle decides to rip me to shreds. Won't that be delightful. Hallie thought sarcastically, she glanced down at the bird's talons and shuddered.
