Trix
Trix stared up at Finn with lonely eyes. He was put alone in a kennel, too, because he was young enough to be on his own, but the owners were scared of him being hurt by older ones. "Hi.." He said meekly. "I'm Trix. I'm alone too."

Maximus (Max)
Maximus laid down to relax himself in the large pen where he, Jode, and Aislynn roomed together in. "Ahh.. That feels better. My back was hurting.." He muttered to himself, and tucked his large paws neatly underneath him, but then shook in discomfort and rolled over on his back and got up again. "Nothing seems to help.." He said it like a growl.

Aislynn (Wings)
"Max," Aislynn said, overhearing his conversation with himself. "You should go see a vet. Try and get Owner to realize you're hurt. She'll take you."

Maximus (Max)
"No! I do not show weakness. Now stop sticking your nose where it doesn't belong, Wings." Max barked back.

Jode
Jode got up from her sitting position and looked at Aislynn. "It's okay, Wings. He's just crouchy." She said, then laughed and trailed off to a new subject. "I'm hungry, shouldn't we be fed by now?"

Aislynn (Wings)
Aislynn laughed and shook her head. "No, Jode. We have about an hour or two before its lunch time. But I think in a few minutes we'll be let outside. That'll be good!" She said, then settled down to sit in a comfy corner of the pen.

Finn turned to look at the young pup who was speaking to him. A hint of a smile danced on his face. 'Name's Finn,' he said, nodding. 'Being alone isn't very fun, is it?' he mused aloud. He was glad he had someone to talk to, even if it was just a pup.

Trix
"Yeah," Trix said in agreement. His big brown eyes perked up in a dazzle of excitement. After all, he'd been alone and bored- and a puppy gets bored very easily, and when he is it is miserable. "It's not fun at all. Nice name, Finn." He smiled, his little tail wagged.

Finn grinned fit the first time in a long while. 'Thanks, kid,' he said. It was so strange for him that he was getting along with this pup. Maybe he had miraculously changed... probably not. 'Where're your parents?' he asked curiously.

Trix
Trix looked up for a moment, as if he was thinking, then replied, without a change of tone at all. "Right now, probably Dad's laying underneath the ground in ashes and my Mom is probably on the ocean floor."

Finn sucked in a breath of air sharply. 'Gee, I'm real sorry kid,' he said sympathetically. He vaguely recalled his own deceased parents. Curiousity gnawed at him. He wondered what had happened to the kid's parents. He surprised his question; he didn't want to pry.

"Naa, it's fine." Trix said. "I was just a day old, actually.. When they died an' all.."

Finn nodded, his expression grave. 'Still doesn't make it any easier. Not having a mom and dad is tough; believe me, I know.' His eyes shown with sadness as a flurry of memories passed through his mind.

"What happened to yours?" Trix asked. He shifted his paws and sat down comfortably.

Strom

The large brute layed in his cage, glarining at Patch as she blabbed on about something. "Shut up Patch!" he moaned annoyed


Patch

She looked at her brother, hurt, "Okay..." she whimperd saddly, "Oh! Sadie! Guess what happend TODAY!?!?!"


Sadie

The fea looked up, "Lets see...you ate a mouse?" she guessed, her voice held a teasingly gleam.


Patch

"Nooo...but I did that once, oh, tip, don't eat mice, it tastes awful!" she said with a giggle, "I don't get how cats can eat them, bleh." she said making a face
