Ember is the leader of the main pack, with Damien as her mate and Ciaran as an only pup. Ember and Damien don't even know that Ciaran is alive.

Human kids took him from the den at an early age, and by the time the parents found the kids with the pup, they thought that too much human scent had rubbed off on him and that his mom wouldn't accept him if they put him back. So he's a pet... for now.
