History? Knoxville was born in, Tennessee, the son of Lemoyne and Philip Clapp. Phillip Clapp, Knoxville's father, worked as a car salesman. Knoxville credits a copy of Jack Kerouac's On the Road given to him by his cousin, country singer/songwriter Roger Alan Wade, with giving him the acting bug. After graduating from South-Young High School in 1989, he moved to California to become an actor, and at first appeared in commercials and as an extra. Not getting the big break he had hoped for, he began writing and pitching article ideas to various magazines. An idea to test self-defense equipment on himself was picked up by the Jeff Tremaine-helmed skateboarding magazine Big Brother, and the stunts were filmed and included in Big Brother's Number Two video.
Eventually, Knoxville, Tremaine, Sean Cliver and Dave Carnie produced a pilot that used Big Brother footage along with footage from Bam Margera's CKY videos, and with help from Tremaine's friend, film director Spike Jonze, they pitched a series to various networks. A deal was made with MTV and Jackass was born. Knoxville also participated in the Gumball 3000 for Jackass along with co-stars Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Jackass director Jeff Tremaine, and producer Dimitry Elyashkevich. Prior to Jackass landing on MTV, Knoxville and company turned down an offer from Saturday Night Live to perform similar stunts for the show on a weekly basis.
After the filming of Jackass the show, they decided to move onto make a movie. Jackass the movie. They soon had a full cast. Including; Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, Preston Lacy, Dave England, and Ehren McGhehey. After they filmed that movie, Knoxville couldn't let go, and decided to make a second one; Jackass number two. And that's when the cast grew. They included a few more members; Brandon Novak, Brandon DiCamillo and Loomis Fall.
After Jackass number two, the whole cast accidentally made more footage than expected, and made a 3rd jackass; Jackass number 3.
And currently, Spencer is taking a break from Jackass, and is living in a big white house, east of ________.

"Well, because I hate meat and fish. I'm not really a vegetarian because of the fact I don't want to kill animals, but, they get killed for non-vegetarians anyways, right? I just love to eat veggies and crap.."

"A..Uh...You know those people that...Scuba dive under water into the ocean and film? Yeah, one of those guys..."

Depends on if their hot...I mean, I do mind for the obsession part, but if they got a bit of cutness to them...Then I don't mind..
