She stepped out of the water, shivering softly. She ignored it and walked over to her towel. She sat down in the sand and attempted to clean off the necklace.

He followed her and grabbed his towel and sat down beside her

She managed to scrub the necklace off a little, trying to figure out the engravings. "Can you read it at all yet?" She asked looking up at him.

He shook his head

She sighed looking down at the necklace. She tried getting the necklace wet and then scrubbed it with her purple towel.

"I can start to read something"He said

She nodded and dropped the towel in her lap. "What can you read?" She asked, handing it to him.

"M'kay." She looked back down at the necklace, running her thumb across it in attempt to clean it.
