In mountains that are stacked with fear
But you're a king and I'm a lionheart

I've seen this picture over and over and over again, and while the picture itself is simply gorgeous, its message really just - nng, I kinda wanna throw something. and I reallyreally hate to say these kind of things but my throat is welled up with a scream I've been holding down there for so long .. I really dont mean to provoke controversy or anything of the like, and I dont mean to seem rude and cruel, its just my opinion.

you cant just tell people to suck it up, other people've got it worse. yes, thats true, some are not as bad off as others, but that doesnt mean theyre not allowed to be sad. theres things in these peoples lives that are uncontrollable and its only natural to cry or be sad sometimes. are you saying your whole family giving up at life isnt worthy of being sad, and that you need to suck it because someone out there has their whole family off in the war, fighting, risking their life that they actually want ? both of these people are allowed to be unhappy, so please dont tell them to just get up and pretend like nothing ever happened and be smiley.

while I'm so veryvery glad that you are finally feeling better, the woman you met was a blessing to you. its unfair to tell every sad or depressed/clinically depressed person out there to pretend like they met her too and be happy. and compared to her, sure, you may not of had it as bad, but that doesnt mean you yourself are not worth feeling sorry for. because you are, everyone is. not just the saddest person in the world who apparently is the only person allowed to be dejected ..

you can fix your life if youre not lazy, thats right. but it still takes a long time to piece back together all the lonely shards. people may be inclined to visit a psychologist, or a counsellor and even take medicine to feel better, and even then its sometimes only clouding the problem until you miss one session of therapy or forget to take your meds in the morning. this people chose to try to get better. but what if they are still suicidal ? do they still need to suck it up because they are not trying hard enough, and are being lazy ?

depression almost always clouds ones mind making them pessimistic. they cannot help it, and they can only focus on the bad things on life, and are unable to picture good things for the future. its hard to get up out of that rut if life seems pointless, so to dimiss somebody's problems like they are not worth it, is disheartening. it makes them feel so worthless, unimportant, and like they are actually being a wimp like whomever dismissed them implied [ all facts on depression were found on the website kidshealth.org ].

you know, I know, a lot of people know it sucks once you get down in the dark abyss. but just because theres other people down there more worthy than you, doesnt mean you have to crawl out of it and erase those memories from your mind. if it was that easy, to just stand up and be happy, everyone would have done it by now.

I appreciate that you added the fact that you are not trying to put those with real clinical problems down. I know that sad people get a bad reputation because some use it as an excuse, but not all of them. the internet can be a haven for some people, sadly, so that may be why depression lurks over the web.

but hon, people have a reason to be sad, may it be hereditary, a loss, being bullied, and even those tiny little petty reasons. its unhealthy, youre right, and I feel blessed that in the world there is someone like you and the woman whom assisted you to try and make a difference in peoples lives. while this is a step in the right direction, I just felt that I needed to get that out. sorry for the uproar, but please dont take this in the wrong way. think and consider, that is all.

however, thank you so immenely much for giving reality a nicer look than some people blame it for having, and a lovely picture to go with it. seriously♥

A few days ago, my older sister came over to show my mom her new songs. She's becoming an exert pianist, singer, and song writer, that she made me cry. I became envious. I told her that nobody cries over drawings, which is pretty much the only thing I'm good at. My sister tolld me she wasn't too sure about that, but I didn't believe her.

But when I saw this, believe me when I say it, tears came rolling down my face.

This is beautiful; the picture, the message... everything. I hope this comment means as much to you as this drawing drawing did to me.

I love this message! I see people, not just on the internet, but in real life as well, who think that they have the worst life possible. It bugs me because they have so much to be thankful for! Some of my friends say I am one of the most carefree people they know, but I think it's more because I just love living! The best gift one can get, is the gift of life. I know that sounds cliche and cheezy, but it's true! :D I'm definiately putting this in my signature!
