John Barrowman!!

John was born John Scot Barrowman in Glasgow, Scotland on March 11th 1967. He moved to America when he was 8 and changed his accent to cope with bullying. He is now what he calls bidialectical (he can speak the same language with two different accents) - he speaks with an American accent most of the time but, when he is with his family, he speaks with a Scottish one! He is most well known for playing Captain Jack Harkness in first Doctor Who and then Torchwood. He is hoping to be in the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who in 2013 although this has not been confirmed yet. He lives in Cardiff with his partner Scott and his dogs.

They met in 1993 and became civil partners in Wales in 2006. They opted not to get married in the traditional way because they don't think that gay couples should because marriage is a Christian ceremony and they believe that the Bible goes against same sex marriages. In my opinion they are the cutest celebrity couple I can think of!

*Random fact* Scott hates it when John talks in a Scottish accent and can't stand being in the same room!

What is your favourite episode of Doctor Who with Captain Jack in it?
So far I have only seen Utopia but I am about to watch The Empty Child and then work my way through his episodes in series one before moving into series three (I've just finished watching series two)
