This is the story of three teenage girls, as they experience the thrills of entering adulthood, the excitement of cultivating meaningful relationships, the pain of losing someone you love and the bliss of being in the spotlight.
Please Note: I'm quite busy with roleplays, and starting another story soon, so please be patient with me. I've been really tired lately, so updates may not be too frequent. I'm just trying to get my barrings so I can give you guys the best of my talent. I have a full week off coming up, so I'll have plenty of time to get this story up and running.
Characters: These three girls are the stars of my story, each with her own battles to fight and trials to overcome. I must admit, they are a little less realistic than I had hoped, but I like them, and I think it will be fun to write with them.
Katherine 'Kat' Hobbs
Age: 17
Physical description: Silky, raven black hair that reaches a little bit lower than mid-back. She has pale, silvery blue eyes and fair skin. She's 5'7" and has a thin build.
Personality:
Rebellious
Anything society approves of, Kat disapproves. Anything the crowd supports, she belittles. Anything the majority adores, she despises. Kat is always against what everyone else is for. She is a girl who seeks to be unique, if even it means berating everyone else's opinion.
Bitter
Kat is a sourpuss through and through. She's known for being surly and sullen. Nothing pleases her, and she is ridden with unhappiness. She is unkind and harsh, hardly caring who's feelings she hurts. Kat has a short fuse, and is filled with angsty spite.
Pessimistic
Kat can never seen the bright side to any situation. She is cursed with a constant black cloud above her head. All she sees is misery, and it's impossible for her to see otherwise. Her pessimism enshrouds and blinds her so intensly, will she ever be able to see the sunshine?
Sarcastic
If there's one thing Katherine takes pleasure in, it's sarcasm. Kat enjoys sarcasm and is quite fluent in it, offering it on the side of every conversation, free of charge. She's skilled in the hurtful brand of humor, and uses it frequently.
Kitty Hobbs
Image

Age: 17
Physical description: Kitty sports the same black hair as her twin sister, though her's is just a little bit longer than jaw lengh, and has thick, poker straight bangs. She is 5'7" just like her twin, and has a moderate physique.
Personality:
Dreamy
Kitty always has her head in the clouds. She is spacey and creative, and always loses herself in her thoughts. Kitty is blessed with a vivid imagination, that paints a world of wonder and mystery. What lies beneath her subtle hints of ∂ɛℓιяιʋм has yet to be uncovered.
Childish
Kitty has the same curiosity and innoncence of a young child. She is carefree and adventurous, never letting the pains of the world weigh her down. Kitty still indulges in the joys of exploring and playing dress up. Her youthful demeanor does not neccesarily mean she's immature, however.
Withdrawn
Kitty is not the most social type. If she is ever approached, she will gladly treat the other person with kindness, though making friends isn't a priority. Strangely, she does seek the adulation of her peers, though she doesn't use direct interactions to obtain it, but instead gains by her performances onstage.
Coquettish
Kitty does have a romantic side. Though she's more fascinated in fantasy than reality, the promise of real romantic pursuits entacises her. Kitty does not think of herself as slutty or superficial, but with a bat of her eyelashes and a pout of her lips, she can win hearts.
Isabelle Grenier
Age: 17
Physical description: Isabelle has rich, golden curls that are voluminous and long. She has clear, sparkling blue eyes and a plump, pretty face. She is taller than average, measuring around six feet tall, and has a sturdy body shape.
Personality:
Rabbit-obsessed
Isabelle has a truly remarkable devotion to bunnies. She is the president (and only member) of her school's Bunny Fanclub, and proudly makes known her adoration of the creature. Isabelle is a rabbit addict, who's closet displays 38 bunny themed articles of clothing. Including her coveted bunny toque, her cherished bunny hoodie and her beloved bunny slippers.
Ditzy
Isabelle isn't a complete sod-for-brain, but she is a little slow. It usually seems to stem from her hyperactive attitude, not her lack of IQ. Many people say her minds so full of bunnies, there's no place to put the knowledge. Despite her dull wits, she's a very kind lady.
Sensitive
Isabelle is a very fragile girl. Her heart is as delicate as tissue paper, and blunt words can easily tear right through her. If one is not careful, this girl can easily be brought to tears. However, it won't take long for her spirits to be mended.
Geeky
Isabelle is a certified internet nerd, pegasister and weaboo. Of course, her odd interests seem to make her an outcast amongst her peers, and despite her bouncy optimism, making friends is a challenge. Luckily for her, she has her bunnies to keep her company.

Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the harp on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
Who shall gather the smoke of the deadwood burning,
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

From the diary of,
Kitty Hobbs
I am so thrilled, diary! Right now, at this very moment, I am standing in the middle of a deserted mansion! Can you even fathom that? A deserted mansion! It has the most grand staircases, and an exquisite window on the back wall. Oh, and don't even get me started on the chandelier! It's absolutely the most fabulous chandelier!

I can't even believe my own eyes, diary! I was just strolling along, on my usual morning walk, when I decided to take a differnt route, and PRESTO! Now I'm here! At this incredible mansion! And the greatest part is not a soul is around! I have the mansion all to myself, diary! It looks so haunting and cryptic, and I'm certain there's some kind of mysterious secrets just waiting to be unearthed!

Trust me, diary, this isn't just any old mansion. I can tell you right here and now, that there's something much more laying beneath these walls. That's why I'm so thrilled. Since I'm obviously the only person here, I obviously will get the first try at discovering the secrets of this desolate mansion!

Oh, and next to all the intriguing secrets, there's another great benefit! Do you want to know what that is, dear diary? Of course you do. I will get to use the mansion as my very own clubouse. And I don't mean some silly little clubhouse, where we goof around and have sleepovers. I mean like a secret headquarters for my school's Lolita club.

That's right, a Lolita club. I'm still trying to get the headmaster of our school to approve my proposition, but I'm sure he'll accept. We are in desperate need of some clubs that are actually worth joining. I mean, a judo club? A choir club? Please, what's the point in that? A Lolita club, however, is a great idea. I suppose the only issue is that I'm the only Lolita girl at our school.

But on second though, this mansion is so divine, I'd rather just keep it to myself than share it with a bunch of people. Hmm, perhaps only the most elite of the Lolita club would have access of the mansion. Yes, that seems more fitting. It can be an area only for the highest ranking Lolitas, which of course would have to include me.

I suppose I mustn't be wasting my time dwelling on the details of the Lolita club. After all, my attention should be focused on this extraordinary mansion, shouldn't it? Speaking of which, I am absolutely astounded by the architecture of this mansion. Straight from the Victorian era I would assume. Oh diary, if only you had eyes so you could see it for yourself. Perhaps I shall take a picture, and paste it into the page of the diary.

Image
Isn't it divine, diary? Yes, I did take the picture in sepia. I think it adds such a chilling touch. My grandmother bought me my sepia camera a few years ago, for getting such great marks on my report card. Isn't it a handy present? Well, diary, I must go searching through this mansion. I'll be back in no time flat to tell you all about my findings.

From the journalistic findings of,
Kat Hobbs
Ew. It' so sunny outside right now. Normally, I don't give a crap about the weather, but here's the thing; I'm all tucked away in my dungeon/cave/bedroom, and this one, puny window is all I have in terms of natural light source. And because my room's in the basement, all I get is this bland, dim light that comes into my room. And it makes me feel so depressed to be hidden in my bedroom, while the sun is out.

It's not that I want to be in the sun, but I hate the atmosphere it gives to my room. Instead of getting this warm, happy glow, it's starched and pale and makes me think of how lonely I am. So here I am, wrting in this pale, ugly journal, in my pale, ugly room on a pale, ugly Sunday. Everything feels pale and ugly. And it's all thanks to that stupid sun.

Go away, you sun of a b*tch. Hehe, that was almost funny.

Kitty hasn't gone back from her morning stroll, but she's been texting me like mad. I keep getting this stupid little messages from her detailing how she found this old, Victorian-era mansion. Whatever, like I give a d*mn about some lame mansion. Kitty's really into this whole Lolita junk, and this one text she sent me said how it'd be a great clubhouse.

Yeah, the only problem is there's no club, stupid. My sister can be a real idiot sometimes. She's got plenty of book smarts, but she's cocky and self-assured. She's too much of a dreamer, and she thinks as long as she can dream it, she can do it. Stupid, huh?

Well, I pride myself on being much more of a realist. I'll take a whack at it, and if I fail, then I ditch the whole project. One of my mottos is, "If at first you don't succeed, burn any evidence that you tried." And it's true.

One time, I tried to ride a pony when I was younger. Probably only like five, and I fell off the first time. Nobody knew about it, but my mom took pictures of me when I fell, and put them in our family scrapbook. And then, one day a classmate of mine found the picture (she was being a total rat, by the way and kept snooping through our stuff), and she never let me hear the end of it. What was her name again? It was Shirley something. Anyway, after about the 100th teasing, I snapped at her and totally called our friendship off.

That was the last time that Shirley and I ever had an encounter.
