" Who is it?" Jaypaw asked.

" It's somebody special." Was all Fawnleap said.

Oakpaw nodded and waited ot tell his father about his new life.


Silverstar looked down at her son and frowned. You WILL see again Oakpaw. She then padded away to the gathering. She jumped to the highrock and waited for the other clan leaders. (Oooooohhh, Cloudpaw's in trrroubbllle.)

Cloudpaw sulked around fourtrees and sat down in the corner.

(I'm gonna have Airheat and Silverstar get in a pissy fight about oakpaw being blind and Cloudpaw's punishment.)

Icepaw entered the gathering place and wandered over to Cloudpaw, "so, genious, what have you done this time?"

Cloudpaw glanced at Icepaw and said, I attacked a tresspassing apprentice and clawed at im. His father, Reedpelt, THE DEPUTY, came and yelled at me and... I blinded Oakpaw. I can't belive what Silverstar will do to me.

winterpelt returned with a small paste on her paw. I can't be sure you will see again but this will stop the bleeding and hurting. Hold still." She gently applied the mixture and covered it with cobwebs. " Silverstar, I have to stay here with Oakpaw so I am going to send Ripplepaw to be my represent." She sat down by her leader.

Icepaw batted him lightly on his shoulder with her tail, "don't worry, i mean, just becuase Oakpaw is blind, it doesn't mean he can't do stuff in the Clan, even if he can't be a warrior..."
But both she and Cloudpaw knew that Cloudpaw's punishment would be huge, just what it was though, they did not know.
"If you get sentanced to a moon in the apprentice's den, I'll stay with you," she offered, licking his shoulder comfortingly, "anyway, you didn't blind him on purpose... did you?"
