{on the outside}
overall description ; Given the structural similarities of a cat from the Abyssinian breed, Smokepaw is not only lanky in appearance, but growing taller each day it seems. Skinny hind and forelegs attach themselves to a skinny frame, ending with smallish round paws with defined slits where his claws are contained. Smokepaw's tail is like the rest of his body; long and skinny. A few tufts of fur stick out at the tip, the tips of the strands tinged with the same cream color that marks the rest of his pelt.
Speaking of his pelt, Smokepaw's name is no mystery, nor misnomer. Starting off with the basics, a cream-toned fur makes up the underneath hues of his pelt. Lighter shades curve around the inner parts of his body, brightening his chest, belly, and inner legs in contrast to the darker tones he possesses. Upon his triangular-shaped head, in between his large triangular ears, falling down and broadening across his flank before ending at his tail, a blanket of ash streaks across his body, fading out from the thinner, dark stripe that is easily seen snaking down his spine.
Hues of pale smokey-gray highlight Smokepaw's facial features, shadowing over his creamy fur and giving a bit more definition to his white-tinged muzzle. More so, it brings out his round, owl-like amber-gold eyes which sometimes appear hazel in the light.
pelt color ; A cream blanketed with a dark ash cloak.
eye color ; Amber-gold/hazel.
scars/ markings ; No scars or clearly definable markings, aside from his dorsal stripe that leads from his head to tail tip.
length ; Long/Lanky
width ; Small/Skinny

crush ; "I'll admit I have seen a pretty she-cat here and there, but I'm only permitted to look."
mate ; "I hate to tell you this, sir/ma'am, but as a Medicine Cat to be, I have no time for love. Besides, it's forbidden."
kits ; "No kits, sir/ma'am. Remember, a mate is forbidden."
kin ; "No kin that I can recall, sorry to disappoint."
personality ; Polite and well mannered, one could say that Smokepaw is one of the most dignified and regal Tomcats around; but, that is an opinion, no matter how commonly thought. He tends to address cats with "sir" or "ma'am", depending on their current ranking within the Clan. If they're of the same grade as he, he'll address them by their real name more often than not. Smokepaw will carry out orders, do what he's told, and not complain much about it. Though he may protest against some requests, he'll do it nicely as to not anger the cat who gave him to chore. He doesn't do it to solely to impress, rather, he sees no reason as to why he shouldn't be nice to others. After all, what is there to gain from hatred?
With that noted, it's easy to see that Smokepaw is a peacekeeper and doesn't like to have tension between others. Some cats pick on Smokepaw for his proper mannerisms, sometimes even the fact that he became a Medicine Cat because he couldn't fight or hunt like other Apprentices. Even if he is a peaceful sort, that doesn't mean his feelings aren't hurt easily.
