I have a question. For "Largest Theme Hoard" could I collect red pets? Also, could they be a mixture of species, and not have to be entirely red, but contain some type of red?

If I recall it was stated before that 'red' especially with 'contain some type of red' is a way too easy hoard, especially with all species allowed. Hoards are supposed to be somewhat tough, and by collecting in that amount you could easily amass 20,000 pets in a month or less and I also believe 'red' isn't really considered a theme, while 'Christmas' would be a theme P:

We've had that problem a while back with purple pets, if I recall it right. The result was that colour hoards except for black/white/gray are impossible to do due to some pet's colours looking different on different monitors; also it was a little difficult to say when a pet counts as [colour here] and when not. I think the set percentage was that >50% of the pet had to have the colour anyway, so collars, eyes, pays etc. wouldn't count. Though if you're only collecting one kind of red pets it may be easier to say if it counts or not, but that's up to Firestar.

Yeah that's sort of what I remembered too. When on my desktop, I use a 42" tv screen as my monitor and colors come out a lot darker on this (and probably clearer too, considering the money spent on this crap -pockets sting-) but on my laptop, regardless of screen brightness, it'll always look a looot lighter. Skin tones are impossible for me to color in on laptop cause no matter what I do everything I see is light P:

But yus, if you want to hoard red pets I'd also suggest only hoarding one red pet :3

No color hoards. All colors look different on different monitors. There were several pets that looked purple on my monitor but more blue on another causing others to get upset at the hoard that had blue pets in it to win a purple hoard record and long discussions for each pet on what color it was considered when a new pet was put in. It was an utter nightmare and I'm sure no wants to go through that again.
