I went to the rescue center to meet Pippen today :D He is huge, also overweight but as he was in a shelter his hole life with little cage free time he is going to just sleep and eat. He so sweet but really really shy, I think it will take alot of work to socialise him. He is now 1 years old, was born there and saddly no-one wanted him :( I don't know what type he is but I'm guessing he has dumbo rat in him as his ears have a dumbo style look but I wold say he is mainly black hooded rat. I never got to hold him or anything as the person didn't want to get him out, I don't think she liked rats that much also she wasn't the small animals worker but I don't mind. I have reserved him and have to have a home check before I am able to bring my new baby home. I intend on calling him Pablo. :D

He looked a bit like a dumbo on the top picture, but more like a top eared on the second, but I guess it is easier to tell when you see him in real life. He looks like a rusted black (or possibly chocolate) capped to me.

Yeah, I think he's a dumbo but i never got a proper look as he was hiding. However he is compleatly white appart from his head which has the black hood and then the white mark through his ears. But he's huge, the pics make him look tiny Ive never seen a rat so big, hes smaller than the large feeder rats at college that are bred to be fed to boa snakes. But he's so cute :D
