My gaze quickly dropped down to my feet when Grant turned me to face him. "Agreed," I sigh reluctantly.
(merr lost some muse XD)
District 4||Dinner||Grant
Grant sighed. "Re-" He cut himself off. I'm not going to torture her any worse. But, I won't let her get herself killed. He looked back out the window without another word. She needs to believe in herself.

District 9 | Josslyn Foxwood | Tribute
I was glad Grant dropped the subject quickly. I was confident in myself, but... I just couldn't bear to win and then watch my own family get thrown into the Games, with me having to teach them how to fight until they die. I may look tough, which I am, but I just can't do that. I'd rather be dead than alive and well with a new family. When he looked away, my stormy grey eyes flickered upwards to look at him.

District 4||Dinner||Grant
Grant continued staring blankly out the window, not noticing Josslyn looking at him. He shook his head a bit. What can I do to get her to believe in herself? She's one of the only people here who actually likes me that isn't a Career. She's not dying the first day. I'll make sure of it.

District 4||Dinner||Grant
Grant looked down at her, shaking his head. "Nah, I'm fine. Everything's good." He caught his mistake and immediately grinned. "Since when is anything wrong with Fishboy?" He rolled his eyes, voice and eyes matching in playfulness. So glad I can switch my attitude around... He thought to himself.
