Look at this lineage. I got a sweetling from an alt sweetling. That is cool.

How exactly do you get alts? Does it have to be in the lineage?

Sweetlings don't breed Alts, they were a special give out as an apology for a glitch when they were released. You can see all the children of that one's parent as well, none of them are Alts either.

Snag some Deep Sea eggs
Attempt to get some more Dorsal (mainly red)
Get a male Golden Wyvern

Get a set of Grays
Get a set of Greens
Breed a Green & a Stone to get Geode
Get some Guardians
Get a female Harvest
Start a Horse breeding project
Gather more Magis
