Camp Half-Blood - Currently Having A Quest

Matt shook his head and went to get his horse. He found the black horse and led it out of it's stable. He looked back to Annie with a smile.

Annie brought out the Paint horse and smiled, rubbing its nose before looking over at Matt and smiling. She got a helmet and followed him out of the barn.

Matt geared up with Annie. He then hopped on and said,"How about we go to the lake shore? Race you."

Annie climbed onto her horse and glanced over at Matt, smiling slightly. "Sure." she replied. "You say when." She would let him win, he would be excited.

Matt nodded and held the reins tight. He said,"No cheating. I want to beat you fair and square when I do. GO!" He raced off then on his horse,

Annie giggled and nodded. She raced after him, keeping up pretty easily. She would stay a step behind him, and make sure that he won.

Matt Kept up his pace. He couldn't figure out why Annie hadn't passed him. He wasn't going that fast but it still wass fast.

Annie kept her gaze ahead, glancing over at Matt every few seconds to make sure she was still behind by a step. He was cantering, and she could gallop, but she didn't try to. She just smiled and looked forward again.

Matt slowedjust a little wondering if she would pass him then. He smiled back to her in reply. He saw the lake ahead too.

Annie slowed down her horse as well, trying to make it look casual. She hoped that Matt wasn't catching on; she wanted him to win. She smiled weakly over at him.
