Fresca blasted a ginormous Flamethrower that was more massive than Gallade itself, and twice as dangerous. It hit both Pokemon at once, engulfing them completely in fire. Alex grinned. "Fresca has the Flash Fire ability" She explained to the dumbstruck Commander. "It powers up Fire-type moves by 1.5 times if the user is hit by one. And I believe Magmortar doesn't have Flash Fire as its ability. He has Flame Body, right?" Alex said, a smirk on her mouth.

[Pinstriped Pirates]

Phoebe shot a split-second glance at Freya, who immediately got it and flew off her head and landed comfortably on the floor. "A-ah, sorry about that! It's a little hard to concentrate when your mind is full of things!" She apologized profusely. The trainer then stood up and faced Astrid and Shadow. "Sorry, um, what were your names again?" Phoebe asked with a slightly sheepish grin.

"Astrid," Astrid replied. Gus looked at Phoebe curiously.

Sage saw that the weird guy was starting a battle.

Phoebe broke out into a wide grin and took Astrid's hand without any warning and shook it vigorously. "Great! I'm Phoebe!" She re-introduced herself with the grin still practically stuck on her face, "What other Pokemon have you got?"

Saturn growled.

Magmortar dogded the attack and used his special attack.

Fresca yawned and let the attack hit her full on. Then she fired an Energy Ball at the Magmortar. Alex facepalmed at the Commander. "Are you deaf or something? I just said that Fire attacks do NO deal any damage to Fresca whatsoever. Hell, they power her up!" She said.

[Pinstriped Pirates]

Phoebe broke out into a wide grin and took Astrid's hand without any warning and shook it vigorously. "Great! I'm Phoebe!" She re-introduced herself with the grin still practically stuck on her face, "What other Pokemon have you got?"

Astrid was a little surprised at this girl's enthusaiasm. "Er, well, I have my Damion, which I think you saw. I also have a Sandslash, a Renneclus, a Blitle, and a Sharpedo."

Sage just sat down and sent out her Abra who slept on her lap.

Phoebe laughed at Astrid's occasional stuttering. "Oh, I've always wanted to see a Reuniclus in person! Could I see? Please?" She asked in a tone that sounds as if she were actually begging. But begging for a Pokemon she'd seen a few times before? Pfff, as if.
