((Sadly, I'm leaving literally right now. Tell you what: everyone can post an intro post nothing else. To test all of your literacy, I suppose. ^^

zippyzoo: It will defiantly not be one of those 'whole picture/font/color/size/quote' per post things. Those drive me insane. XD Simple posts please, all that really matters is few typos and such.))

( Alright! Intro Post! Meh First >;3 )

- Sapphire Kiorori -

My hand slipped out of the pouch that hung carelessly from behind the idiotic man standing infront of me. It was a simple task to pickpocket him, for the pouch's opening was quite open. This must have been due to a previous pickpocket not too long ago. The man had not yet noticed the weight diffrence coming from his left back side. I turned around, walking away, a sly grin on my face as I examined the golden coin. It would fetch me a fine dinner tonight, and maybe even a pair of gloves. I needed them, the fine type that is; not the rough, thick, carelessly made type. The fine leather would help cover up any warmth imitating from my hand at least.

Suddently, a large, ugly hand scarred by years of work, grabbed my arm. The sudden yank had made the hood of my cloak reveal my face to the world. I remember my parents, humble farmers, always complimenting my beautiful features. For they matched not theirs, nor anyone living near the farms and villages living nearby. Pale flesh like the snow and dark hair like the night. Contrasting feautures that made me the more attractive. Not to mention the long dark lashes that made my complicated patterns and spalshes of diffrent shades of blue in my eyes the more intriguing. I would spend hours on end staring at my own reflection in the river's clear water because of this.

The man who had grabbed me was nonetheless than the one that I had just stolen the golden coin from. He had rough facial features, and a round built that would make you think he was about to roll off any second. "HAND OVER THE MONEY!" he proclaimed, screaming at me in a dark voice and the stench of rotting food and garlic filling my nostrils. I reach for the pocket in my cloak, and take out the golden coin. "Oh, you mean this?" I said inoccently, my large blue eyes narrowing at his own small dark ones. "But I earned this, m'dear. You see, I'm just a simple preformer, I beg your pardon but you have me confused with someone else. Now I plead that you let go of me." I said, my high, child-like voice with its harmonic tune played the part along with me. When the man refused to release his grip, I smiled simply, and with an impulse, my leg kicked his face, making him stumble, and making me fall back to the floor. Though I landed perfectly, the impact with the ground had startled me a little, and it took a few seconds for me to recuperate.

"Why you thief!" The man growled, hiding his nose between his hands. I had obviously broken it, for a little tear of blood made its way out into the world. "Now now, the law states that if a person is attacked, they have all rights to defend themselves... Though I'm not to sure about that. After all, I don't make habit of following the law." I giggled, covering my own mouthe, a habit of mine for when I laughed. "Now, I beg your pardon, but I must take my leave! My deepest thanks for the golden coin, and thank you for watching this preformance!" For was it only now that the man had noticed the large crowd circeling us ever since he had grabbed me by the arm. It would be soon when the officials arrived, so I better be making my leave. And so with that, I took of into a run, laughing to my hearts delight. Tonight I wouldn't go hungry at least.-

( I'll post Natsumi's post later, okey? Time to go night night x3 )

Name: Anne Wycliffe
Nickname: Anne, only. By her family, Annie.
Age: Fifteen
Gender: Female

Description: An awkwardly lanky girl, Anne's hight alone makes her an individual. Not very thin, but not large, either, it is clear she's lived a noble's life with a curvy, well-fed figure and pale skin, dotted with only light freckles on her face. Dark hair, like trees at midnight, swatch her head, with blunt bangs and length that reaches to her elbows in straight, thick tresses. Her eyes are, though, the most vivid thing about Anne; blue like the sky, with a hint of green, wide set and almond shaped, they dominate her face. Anne's a pretty girl, but not beautiful. She wouldn't turn heads in the marketplace, but she's not the last to dance in a ball, either. The girl has a grave appearance, and her teal eyes always seem to have something or another hidden below their depths.
Height: 5'11
Weight: 145 lbs.
Position?: A distant relation to the king; a noble's daughter.

Personality: Anne was born like any other child. Free from the oppressions and boundaries of society and politics, naive and innocent the the pains of life, and what it brings with it's fated wings. She was happy, as a young girl, but the peace and young joy she felt in her breast as a child was soon lifted from her as adulthood--what her father considered adulthood--set in. At seven she began her education, learned Latin and Greek, read the Bible and the works by the Greek philosophers. Wrote poems and learned how to become a respected woman. This in itself was not so horrible, but it too jaded the girl from her life, every day having the mundane tasks and commonplace goals to reach. It was boring, it was, she felt, below her, as a child, as a free girl. But her father disagreed. It was when she was twelve, though, that her personality changed. Something clicked one day, maybe it was walking out into the street with her father and seeing girls her age starving to death, people throwing rotten fruits in their direction...something about the gruesome sight changed Anne. She learned truly what it meant to be privalegded, but more than that, the burden that came with these gifts. The responsibility to be exactly who everyone needed her to be, because they kept her alive for it. She could have easily been the girl dying on the side of the road from small pox, or the still born child, or the slave sold by her family. Anne realized how lucky she was, but instead of relief, she felt only pressure, like a dog at her throat, foaming and crushing her bones, tearing addrenaline from her veins, making her blue eyes widen and her mouth turn into a frown. Because being who she was, she realized, meant she didn't have the choice, like those poor people and commoners, for a life. She was destined, from the day she was born, from the moment a silver spoon went in her mouth, to be whoever her father and his friends wanted her to be. She had no say. Had no opinion; and she changed them. Anne turned into a more mature, more solemn version of the young child she used to be. Smiles rarely graced her freckled face, and her eyes stayed chilled. The more she saw people, the butlers and maids, the more she envied their freedoms, despite the hardships they went through. In their own way, they had so much more power than her. Than she would ever have as a woman and daughter and rich lady, a noblewoman with no rights or voice. Silent as a shadow, and just as fleeting in the history of their kingdom. Just as ephemeral.
But Anne has always been resistant. Always been the one to stand up, straighten her spine, and refuse to bow down to something she disagrees with. So now who is Anne? A girl willing enough in her part, but with small rebellions. She wears pink dresses when her father picks out blue, she leaves her hair down her back, in a more common dress than noble, and she speaks with her chin high, and as little modesty as she can muster. She looks people in the eye when they talk to her, and she hopes they see her as who she is. Not some item dressed in fancy silks, but a girl, with feelings and a caged heart. She wants freedom, not this dependancy on her family. But Anne is neither a fool nor an optimist. And she knows that will never happen. There is no way to get out of this life of hers, to break the pattern, unless she finds it herself. And she knows it won't be easy. But now an oportunity had risen: Ren is a weak king, everyone knows it. The advisors are looking for a new heir, and Anne, with already a sliver of royal blood within her body, her regal appearance and manor, and the fire in her heart to have some power over her life for once, for not being controlled like a puppet, told and shown what to do, with no choice, no freedom--just a slave in a palace--is determined to receive that ultimate prize. That golden crown.
Looking to take the throne?: Yes.
Crush?: None

Name: Evangeline Bambi Elizabeth Hart
Nickname: Evie : | : Eli
Age: 15
Gender: female

Description: Evie is a small and petite girl, standing at around 5"1 and is very skinny but could be called slim. Her hair is cropped and never tidied at all, although she washes it when she can. Evie's hair is her favourite part of her body for it is unusual and stands out being the bright orangey-auburny colour that it is. It almost 'swathes' across the top of her head with quite a bit of volume that can be controlled. Her skin is pale but certinaly not clean. Not in the possesion of a mirror she can only go by the twisted image of herself in a river to clean her face. Evangeline's eyes are another favourite part of her body for like her hair they are almost auburn in their colour but have a deep chocolately brown surrounding her iris. If you want to know what she is feeling look to her eyes. Sparkles appear when she is happy, they glint when she is feeling/being mischevious, darken when she is upset and seem to brew a storm when she in angry. However Evie has learnt to keep people out and they can also just be blank.
Height: 5"1
Weight: 89lbs
Position?: Evie is an urchin and an orphan although she sometimes works in the Castle when there is a ball or any special event.

Personality: Evie was orphaned when she was young and this has seemed to keep her a child forever. Playful and mischevious she mostly spends her time laughing and can talk for her country but knows when to stop. She has seen into the life of royalty and unlike many urchins does not envy them at all. They are trapped inside worlds of their own making with now way out; no freedom where she can do whatever she wants.
Eli was never taught to write but picked up reading from a young age when working at an event in the Castle before the previous King died. Compared to the daughters of rich-men and women she knows nothing of Religion, History or learning but knows more of life than they ever will. She is innocent but naive and will always be a dreamer and her imagination will never leave her.
She has a strong but kindred spirit and her temper has a notorious reputation in the streets although is harldy anything when you look at that and then her repuatation for getting things. An expert at pickpocketing and knows how to squirm her way into anyones heart even just for an apple.
Any plans for the chaos surrounding the rule of the kingdom?: Knows what the barons are doing and wants to stop it. wants to help Ren regain his status as King and not the Advisors puppet.
Crush?: Ren is fairly handsome but I know Mikey more.

[Sorry and ok! Thanks for accepting me : ) ]

є ν ι є
I looked through the leaves and branches, my eyes scanning for anyone else. But I saw no one. In a flash, I darted out and dived into the clean water of the bubbling spring, that wound its way around a mountain, near the edge of the city.
The luke-warm water was fresh and my eyes opened under water as I kicked powerfully, swimming downstream as far as I could until I had to come up to breath. Cool air hit my face and my naked shoulders and I quickly bought them back down again for fear of getting too cold.
I swam up and down, between a large, gnarled oak tree and the bush from which I had undressed and then stopped near the bush. I had dropped a measly bar of soap -one I had stolen from a merchant's stall in the market place only yesterday- and my old comb, that had nearly all of its teeth missing, and reached out and grabbed the soap, slathering it over my body before washing it off and then doing the same a couple of times.
Before long I had washed my hair -as best I could with the soap- and was combing it. Then I quickly slithered out and ran to the bush, drying myself with the garment I had changed out of and slipping the only other garments I owned over my head instead. Then I washed the first garment, before slinging it into the small bag made out of cow skin and cloth I had snatched from a small meeting in the Town Hall once.

Running down the mountain, my feet toughened from years of walking and running everywhere without shoes whatsoever, I dodged bushes and jumped over small rocks and rabbit or mole holes as I soon neared the bottom. When the ground levelled out I slowed, the ground changing from rocky to dusty as the tracks that led out of the City walls appeared before me. I would have to wait a while until a ride came along.

I wasn't sure how long had passed but I had never been able to read time and I didn't understand what the concept of it so I whiled it away thinking and finding shapes in the clouds.

When a ride finally did come along, it came in the shape and form of a Cattle Herder in a wagon, led by two donkeys and followed by a herd. I pushed myself up and walked into the middle of the road, making the driver stop. "Could I get a ride please?"
He inspected me and my appearance before nodding and shifting slightly in the seat. I smiled and ran round the donkeys -patting one on the head softly- before pulling myself up into the seat. "Steal anything, you're dead meat."
His voice was gravelly and not an accent I recognised so I came to the assumption he was coming to the Slaughter Market. "you goin' to tha ci'y?" I smiled again and nodded before leaning back as he clicked his tongue and flicked the reins. The donkeys started moving again and I closed my eyes; content.

( Will post for Tyler later. ^^ I can't think of anything for him right now... )

Michael
Michael opened Mydnyte's stall and stepped in, clicking his tongue at the half-ton animal. The large mare snorted at him, shoving her head into his chest. He stepped back as she did, to prevent himself from falling back onto the filthy stall floor. The boy pat the mare's neck, and tied a thin rope onto the mare's rope halter. He tugged gently, leading her from the stall and out of the barn, listening to the daily nickers of greeting he got from the many horses on the farm.
As they exited the barn, Mydnyte nickered happily. Michael knew she was hungry, so once they were in the large field, he removed the rope from the halter, and gently pat her rump. The mare trotted into the field, going to the far side, before she settled there and lowered her head to graze on the lush grass.

The boy turned, closed the gate, and reentered the barn, going to another stall. He then took that mare out to the pasture, and repeated the process with all the other horses, putting the mares in the same pasture as one stallion, and putting the other stallions in other pastures, so they wouldn't fight.

He then took one of the stallions and tacked him with their best saddle and reins, and as he passed the house, called to his father that he was heading off for a ride with Stunned Sun, and came to the end of their driveway, before mounting the stallion.

Mikey then trotted off down the rocky dirt road toward town, slowly building the horse into a canter, and then a gallop.
I am quitting Chicken Smoothie.
I will only be on for the pets and roleplays with close friends.

I can be found off-site for roleplaying. If you need to contact me, do so here, and I may grant you my information.

Re: Advisory Unneeded (semi-lit+)

After his eyes adjusted to the dim lighting in the store, he quickly scanned it. Just like he had thought and planned for. No one was in here at the moment. Exactly what he needed for now. He did a scan around himself. Mark had been watching this place for a while, trying to get the basics. He had learned that the owners usually left for break around this time. He had a total of a few minutes to get in, grab what he needed, and get back out. Not very long at all. But it had to be good enough. Slipping throughout the shop with a dark smirk he made his way towards the back, grabbing a simple thing. Really, if one thought about it, it was nothing. Just a simple loaf of bread and some fruit. Of course, this simple act of trying to live, if he got caught, would end up with him getting his hand cut off. Not a great ending, nor something that he was about to let happen. The way Mark saw it, this wasn't actually stealing. Because the shop owner could have plenty more where this came from. And yes, even if they weren't rich, they had enough food. They could spare a little for him. Shoving the items into his cloak he took a look at himself. He had never given much thought to his situation or how he had got here, and most likely never would. It wasn't something to ponder over. Not like thinking about it would change anything. Freezing suddenly as he heard voices, he couldn't help but curse under his breath. No. Of all times for them to come back early, it was now? When he was in here? Of course. Fate just always had it's strange way...His mind thinking quickly he had two obvious options. One, burst out and try to escape. Aha, no. That wouldn't work, at all. Staying also didn't sound great. Because hiding meant that he would more likely be found then not. And...back door. Back door was good idea. Swiftly making his way silently towards the back, he creaked the door open, already hearing voices inside the building. Not even bothering to shut the door he made an all out run towards anywhere but there, using the side streets he had memorized. Once he thought he heard footsteps following him, and so he just kept running. His heart was pounding in his chest and ears and he couldn't breathe anymore. That was when he finally stopped, face dark. Sadly, he was still in town. This place never seemed to end. Leaving the back streets he pulled his hood back up, which had fallen back during his long run. At least he had the comfort of food now, right? Figuring out where he was in town, he gave a small sigh before heading to his usual place. A small lake, with a large tree beside it, which had a nice view of...everything really. It was a great and silent place. Where he could be alone. Sitting on the ground under the tree and removing his hood, he winced slightly as the light reached his eyes. Adjusting, once again, to the light he grabbed the bread out of his cloak before beginning to eat it. All in all, not a bad life. Not in his view. Yes, he wasn't some King or person of royalty with everything they could want with guards and servants at his every whim, but...he was alive. And free. To do what he wanted. Not to be some stuck up dumb little king like how he heard theirs was. God. He could not wait until the day until he could kill him. He was a hell of a terrible ruler, in Mark's eyes. Of course he didn't know what really was going on with King Ren. But this was still his opinion. But of course, a low life street child like him? Their opinion meant nothing. Finishing off the bread and fruit quickly, he leaned back against the tree, satisfied. A street child he may be. But...perhaps sometime, he would be more then that? Maybe even to just one person? Mark gave a sudden laugh at that dreamy and idiotic thought. Yeah. Right.
