Willow looked at her paws, then up at him. 'she died when Mint and i were 4 moons.'

Ironstar's face fell. "How? How did she die?" he asked urgently. He needed to know.

'i dont know. she left us to go get some food. when she didnt come back, i followed her scent and found her. there was blood, and she wouldnt wake up." Willow could feel tears staining her cheeks. 'we couldnt get her to wake up.'

[wolfie.]

Ironstar looked sullen. "And your sister, Mint. What happened to her?"

'i took care of her for as long as i could, but she was really sick. i didnt know what to do, so i just kept her well-fed.' Willow closed her eyes for a moment. she didnt look well-fed herself. 'im so sorry.'

briarrose padded over with a vole and mouse "wonder where stormcloud is

stormcloud let out a frustrated hiss

[wolfie.]

Thunderclap shrugged. "I don't know." he said just before Stormcloud hissed. "but I do now." he added, heading towards the hiss.

Ironstar licked her forehead softly. "It's okay. You were young, there was nothing you could have done." he meowed gently. "Come, you must be hungry." he meowed.

Willow shifted her paws before nodding.

briarrose followed. when she spotted her brother she laughed "what happen"

Ironstar stood and padded back out of the den, wanting her to feel comfortable. He headed for the fresh-kill pile, disappointed at how low it was. He kew there was already a hunting patrol out though. "Go ahead and choose. Most of this is from last night. If you want fresh kill, you can wait until the hunting patrol had returned." he meowed

Thunderclap stifled his own laugh, waiting for Stormcloud's response.
