Grace closed her eyes, not wanting the emotions that she was feeling jumping out on her. What would she say. Had she just been rejected? Did he not like her? This was a game, wasn't it? She had thought that this was real. He wasn't another of the scientist's mind games. Grace clenched her fists, knowing that she had been stupid to believe this was real. Her pale face, long flowing wavy white hair. It all just added to how stupid she was.

"Yeah, of course" Grace felt a little uneasy as the words came from her mouth. She looked down at her hand, which was currently laying on the ground. She didn't want to look up at him, not at those gorgeous fake blue eyes. This was all fake, it was from the beginning. Someone liking her? Grace realized her hand was still in his. Grace looked away, not wanting even a limb of his in his sight. Grace felt uneasy, silence had swept them for a few minutes. Grace sat up straight, then rose to her feet. She straightened out the skirt on her dress, then said softly "I need to go"Her eyes darted to a tree to her left, she still hadn't looked at Shawn.

Instead of waiting for a reply, she started walking. She started walking slowly, as if she wasn't sure how to walk. Grace felt like that too, like she forgot all the important things to do. Her head pounded, as if someone hit her with a hammer. The pain grew with each step, almost making her fall to the ground. Grace walked faster, she was out of sight from Shawn. Her pain in her head grew to be so strong she had to lean against a tree for support. This couldn't happen. She hadn't changed for over four years, of course with the exception of tests by scientists. Shawn was still out her, and if she was close enough to smell him, she could kill him. Grace ran, hoping to get back to her room in time. There it was, the door to the building. it was under a half-mile away. Grace ran as fast as she could, but the pain was too much to bear.

Grace dropped to a knee, then to both. She let out a scream, and both her hands clenched the hair close to her head. Her arm twitched, then the bone snapped. She had to fight it. Shawn could still be close enough, she had to fight for Shawn. Grace's vision blurred, but it didn't matter since her eyes were shut tight. Her mouth filled with blood as her teeth fell out, being replaced by long canines. Throughout the next five minutes, she was in a painful process of her bones breaking and her body changing. Even through the pain, she couldn't stop thinking about Shawn. She opened her eyes, noticing her vision had magnified. It focused on directly what she was looking at, noticing every tiny movement. A small movement had caught her eye. It was another camera. They were watching her the whole time. Watching her change in pain. Why hadn't they sent someone to help? She can kill people in her form. Did they want to test her, to see who was stronger? Shawn vs. Grace? The thought sickened her..
with pain.
Grace looked at the ground beside her. There were holes from where she clawed at. She found herself rising, but she was shorter. Her nose lifted into the air, smelling something. Shawn! His scent made her tingle. Grace gave a lick, she was starving. She hadn't ate since yesterday. She started jogging, until she had his scent down. She ran, as if enlightened by Shawn.

{Adelaide - Nothing too big has really happened, Liz is seriously tired and wants to part with the group, and Absoli's girl is still knocked out I think, and Blacki's Boy is trying to save her, I do believe.

Mumbling now, but taking into note of what Cass was saying, she spoke just loud enough for the girl to hear. "We're spying on my brother, he met a girl." Liz opened one green eye and gazed at her for a minute, taking in the bird and the girls grin. What was their to be happy about on a day like this? Probably a lot, not that she'd know anything about that. Always being one trailing behind Shawn, Elizabeth was just now starting to shove aside her past image, the shy, easily-blushing girl who couldn't take a hint if it was stated right out there. Oh yeah, that Elizabeth was long gone, that was when she went by 'Lizzy', and now, now she just went by Liz. Libster, Libby, Beth, Eliza, Lizza, and now, finally she came to be Liz. Three letters, L-I-Z, that was her name, don't wear it out.

Crossing her feet, she felt her sneaker touch her jeans. It was just such a normal feeling, that somehow it reminded Liz of home, way back from years ago. Home, where she was happy, safe, and poor. Filthy too, couldn't forget that. The world had changed drastically in the years she'd been taken into the goverment's custody. The one thing that was always counted on to stay the same though, was, as always, that the political leaders could not agree on anything, at all.

Elizabeth let her hair fall into her eyes, hiding the puzzlement that was most likely clear in her expression. Her parents let her go, let her slip through their fingers, and yet they could have refused, could have demanded that she stay in their house-hold. They hadn't though, had they? Just told her 'good-bye' and let her leave. Why hadn't they faught for her? Didn't they love her? Did she even love them? Of course! She let that man take her away from her family, just so they would have enough money to live! That was the most love someone could have, right? Right? She bit her lip, tears forming in her eyes as her body shook slightly. It was true, she did her most thinking when she was tired.

Keeping one around Grace, his right hand softly went to her forehead, looking for a fever. Nope, she was fine, no abnormal heat. Shawn realized then, that she must have been serious. That she wanted to run away, that in itself was probably normal for everyone at some point, but. . . He wasn't sure about that last part. Hadn't he made promises to a couple people already, that if there was ever a chance, that he'd take them with him if he got to escape this hell. Well, now he had to choose. Or did he? Would Grace let him plan this out his way, or did she want to stick with just the two of them? The more the merrier, that would hopefully be the case for her.

Hugging her a little tighter, he whispered into her ear, blue eyes entense and serious for a moment. "You know what you're saying, right? This can't just be some whimsical little thing, unless your joking. And I, for one, don't think you are." Shawn paused, winding his index finger of his left hand around a wisp of her white-blond hair. Maybe he was taking this too seriously, but he was never really one for serious moments, so it felt good to have one once in a while, even if it was a bit too over-done.

"Grace," He breathed out her name, softly, thoughfully, "I really can't commit to what you want right now, I've got promises that need to be held, and I can't really promise to go with you, as that would cause me to break other promises. Unless, you let me make the plans. It'll be me and you, but a few other kids our age. Alright? Can we make that deal work?" Shawn asked her, pulling away from her slightly, not exactly knowing what he was feeling at the moment, and not exactly liking how serious things were right now.
