I thought I would explain this since I noticed someone posed a question about it a few pages ago, today. Maybe add it to the FAQ, since I no longer can edit my original creation with new questions or facts. ^^

Question: Why does a user have a gold/silver/bronze trophy but when I look at their scroll I don't see many dragons? =/

Answer: Because they have chosen to hide all of the adults on their scroll, leaving only the eggs/hatchlings visible so that they can still be put on click sites while the rest of the dragons remain basically 'fogged' completely from other users views. The main purpose of this is so that other users can't see what they have or they want privacy for their scroll.

These dragons have not disappeared- they are still very much there, and they haven't been released or killed. I'm fairly certain 'downgrading' trophy levels is impossible once you have obtained one.

(For example, this scroll actually has over 700 dragons.)

Yeah, I was as wondering that... And if you go to your account you hide your scroll. and you adult/hatching. That what I've seen on there. Lol,

PB reds? Like Red dragons? That can use Incubate?

Yeah, I was as wondering that... And if you go to your account you hide your scroll. and you adult/hatching. That what I've seen on there. Lol,

But you can't put your hatchlings/eggs on click sites if they are hidden, so I never actually hide them. =) I gave up hatching them manually by keeping them in my signature after I hit 400 dragons since it was a pain to keep editing eggs out.
