"Im fine..." Haji answered, shaking his head at her concern. "We should get back. Your dads not dead, but he wont be coming around as long as Im alive." the brute snorted. He had an edge to his voice as the topic was brought back up, obviously unhappy about the whole situation. Haji was really stiff and stony as he had been when he and Roxy first met, as if he knew there was no end to the madness that surrounded this town. Hed never be able to let his guard slip. There were simply too many threats.

Haji perked, hearing crying in the distance and instantly paired it with Alexander. He hned.

(Wait, did Roxy have babies?!?)

Elsa blinked, watching Karl lumber down the street. She cautiously moved towards him, not wanting him to lash out at her. "Are you okay, Karl?" she asked quietly, tilting her head to look up at him.

Roxy pursed her lips but nodded. "Alright." She agreed before hearing about her father. She had somehow known the old noble wouldn't have passed on so easily. The Vampire noted Haji's distinct undertone and didn't blame him for it, she could definitely relate.
Roxy glanced up, the sound of her child's cries reaching her keen ears. Her mommy instincts instantly making her alert and on edge because of the recent events. "Come on, I don't like leaving them alone for this long.." She said, almost whining at their separation as she started walking.

Haji followed Roxy back home. He noticed Cheshire tending to one of the kids, but the other two were still crying. He went to retrieve them, and soothe their crying.


Karl rumbled as Elsa approached him. He swatted her away. "Im fine." he snorted, ruffling his wings.

As Roxy walked inside she noticed Cheshire was holding Alexander in his arms. She quirked her head to the side but the sounds the other two were making piqued at her and she watched Haji go and get them. She quietly 'hned' and went to help as well.

Haji cuddled the two upset children, and they clung to his form a bit, as if wanting to make sure their father was alright. The chevalier let them rest their heads on his shoulders, gently nuzzling them as he walked around the room slowly. It probably wasnt the best idea for him to be picking them up, since he was coated in blood, mud, and all that other good stuff. Haji glanced at Roxy as she came in though, and went to give the quieting duo to their worried mother.

Elsa stumbled a bit, catching herself before she fell. "B-but your covered in blood..." she said, her voice shaking a bit as she slowly moved back to his side.

Karl tilted his head. "Its not mine. Its my brothers, and some vampire that he was fighting." the brute replied, changing back to his human form after he spoke. He fixed his shirt, and pushed his hair over his shoulder with a flick of his wrist.
