Hal nodded, and looked at her "Do you know a place we could get a ride for us and the kid to get away from here?" he asked curious to see if she had any contacts or such in the city that could help. "Stefan might help us possibly...?" he said again trying to think.

Ever nodded, "Yah, I can call some of my friends, they will help." She said as she took out her cell and dialed.

hal nodded, and began loading his SL8 qiuetly as zach slept.

Ever hung up after awhile, "Yah, we have a place to go, he will be around in an hour." she said to Hal. She began to clean her crossbow.

Hal put the rifle back into the holster and walked into zachs bedroom qiuetly, and gently woke him up. "Zach, wake up and get ready, we need to get you out of here." he said calmly as he kept a watch at the door and then said to ever. "Call him back and tell him if sees anyone out in front of the apartment that is a hunter , to txt you, and we'll use the fire escape to meet him in the back lot. okay?" he said nodding as zach woke up and got up at the word "hunter" and began getting dressed.

Hal sat in the living room as Zach ran out of his room and clung to ever "im s-scared." was the childs response as he hugged her tightly as he could.
