Wow, three cages!!

I just lost one of my gerbils( Snape) he was in a really bad way today, he could barely breathe and he couldn't blink one of his eyes. Then he got worse and had to open his mouth fully to breathe and couldn't walk anymore. He died about half an hour ago, the vets couldntve saved him
But atleast he isn't suffering anymore. We've burried him next to magic.

I've now lost 2 animals in one month. I know only have Harry left of the original 6 hamsters and Gerbils, and he's 4 years old

On a happier note candy is coming on really well, she's very friendly snd seems to have no fear at all. Especially of my cats(one of them is a longhair and kinda looks like her in a fluffball way). She's gotten much bigger and her ears fit her body now. Most important she's bright and friendly.

I may get another hamster, it depends whether I'm allowed to or not. If I do ill definatley get another Syrian. They're so friendly.

Oh, I'm sorry. But at least now he is resting peacefully with Magic.

I would love to join! I do own a hamster, and my little sister has owned 4, unfortunatley they all died because of sickness at the pet store, nerve problems, stress and old age. My hamster's name is Checkers, and she is a 3 and a half year old female syrian hamster. She used to be SUPER hyper(she could run on her wheel all night!), but now that she's old she has become really sweet and mellow, although I'm afriad she might pass away soon . haha i got your message! sadly i dont have a hamster anymore because of complications... but i've had lots hamsters and i have loads of hamster experience
My first and favorite hamster was Chocolate Chip! He lived with me in New York state, and then we tried to bring him down south, and i think he didn't the weather... he died He had a brother, Milkshake, that my brother cared for.
