Sail the Seas (Pirate RP Needs Members!)

Emerald's eyes went wide. "Am I the only one who notices this!?!" she asked in outrage. "I know I'm not very good at the whole trusting thing but..." she frowned, tears brimming in her eyes again. She glanced at Tessa and then back at Liam. Maybe she was just over reacting. Maybe Tessa didn't kill Sonja. But then again maybe she was right. If everybody else trusted Tessa she concluded that she should give her a shot as well. It was all just one big maybe right now. "You're right." she said, shaking her head. "Sorry, whatever. I just..." she sighed and walked back towards the farm, not waiting for Ryder or Gannet.

Liam glanced at Gannet and nooded, and the Irishman went for the wagon. He did not want Emerald walking back alone, because no matter who had killed Sonja and injured Tessa-Rose, they were still on the loose. He would not have anyone else hurt, and certainly not if he could do anything about it. He hoped, really hoped, that the captain would be well enough to sail out soon. Like Melody, he knew where the crew had to go. Spain, or perhaps Greece. Sinbad had to know that Sonja was dead. What else could they do? The two had fought together for years until the burly carpenter-turned-pirate had left the ship. Who knew where he was now? But they had to find him.

Jack watched from his position on the floor as Melody comforted Ingo, flipping his head to the side in an effort to move his hair from his face. He didn't want to touch his hair; his hands felt dirty, grimy, contaminated. He needed to wash them. He needed to wash them now.
Forcing himself to his feet, the cook glanced once more at the still, lifeless form of the navigator, the sight causing bile to rise in his throat. Unable to bear it any longer, he turned on his heel and strode away as quick as he could without looking suspicious or ill. He rounded the corner and arched over, retching violently, his palms clamy and sweaty as they rested on the side of the house to steady himself.

Ryder grimaced slightly and slowly walked after Emerald. He didn't do it just because Liam had told him to, or because it was something that had to be done- oh no. Even though he didn't show it on his face, the shock of Sonja dead... it just made no sense. A perfectly capable woman like Sonja... don't just get killed by passing persons. He shoved his hands into his pockets and glanced up at Emerald once more.

Emerald head somebody behind her and she stopped in her tracks. When she looked over her shoulder she saw Ryder. She just gazed at him, waiting for him to speak.

Ryder's eyebrow rose slightly then he dropped his green-eyed gaze, and just walked right past her. He smirked slightly- waiting for her to yell at him and something. He slowed down a little, but kept walking, looking down. All that he could hear was a small breeze and a few foot falls of other people around them.((sorry WB))

Emerald, with narrowed eyes, watched him walk past. After wiping the tears from her eyes she followed after him, determined not to be left behind. After a few minutes of awkward silence she says, "Things just never get better, do they?" she asks shaking her head.

"Only fate can tell..." Ryder muttered in reply- though it was barely audible. He kept walking, not stopping to look back at her. Neither did he slow down his swift stride. The man ran a hand through his hair once more- trying to wrap his mind around the fact that a lot of the crew was getting injured- or worse in Sonja's case. But to think Tessa-Rose would do such a thing? She would have been dead before Sonja got a scratch- if it were a fair fight... He narrowed his eyes more and shook his head slightly. It just didn't make any sense!

Emerald just nodded in reply and sighed, suddenly feeling very tired and achey.

Melody heard thew sound of Jack vomiting and grimaced, wanting to do the same but not quite trusting her legs to carry her far enough away. Suddenly, the quartermaster felt... lost. What was the crew going to do? Without a navigator they would certainly become hopelessly turned about on the open seas, and a lost ship is as good as dead. Provisions, water, the general sanity of the crew; even the most steadfast of sailors go stir-crazy if cramped up for long enough. Again she reached for Ingo, but this time her hands were not gentle when she clamped them on the first mate's shoulders. "Ingo," she said, her voice a quiet command. "Tell me true. How many of your crewmates have you seen die?"
